Plan A will be to get Taylor out. If that doesn't work, they just need to contain her.

Plan A will be to get Taylor out. If that doesn't work, they just need to contain her.
The first sighting of spin from England and it's Laura Marsh. A single from Quintyne takes her into double figures. When she's back on strike she is beaten in the flight by Marsh and inside-edges to mid-wicket for a streaky single.
Quintyne and Taylor pick up a single each off Brunt before the England seamer offers up a leg-side full-toss - she's lucky to have only conceded one from that. Brunt then beats Taylor outside off - too close for the cut she attempted. Loose again from Brunt, floated outside off and Taylor drives for four. Well, she should have done but the outfield is so slow it doesn't get within 10 metres of the boundary and she only gets two.

A side strain is one of those injuries where you can't risk making it worse. They've still got three games here and three games in Sri Lanka - and they've got Beth Langston who can come in. The cover out here is more bowling-heavy than batting-heavy. I think if a batter was injured, they'd call Fran Wilson out.
Nat Sciver drops short and that's meat, drink and dessert to Taylor who rocks back and pulls to the boundary. Off the final ball of the over Sciver floats it quite wide of off stump. Hmm, Taylor may have been expecting a wide call there but the ump keeps his arm fixed to his side.
West Indies skipper Stafanie Taylor in now and, keen to get off the mark, sets off for a suicidal single and if Danielle Wyatt had hit Shaquana Quintyne would have had to carry on to the pavilion. She was barely in the same postcode.

Brunt's been relentless, she's been attacking the stumps, getting some swing and pressure has created that wicket.

That looked pretty adjacent from Brunt, she knew as soon as she turned round that the umpire's finger was going up.
Matthews lbw b Brunt 5 (WI 15-1)
Brunt bangs it in again and Quintyne fancies some of that - but just a single to fine leg.
Matthews faces and she's pinned plumb in front by Brunt. Easy decision for the umpire and England have the breakthrough.
Nat Sciver continues and Matthews pushes off the back foot, picking out a gap in the covers for a single. Short and wide again and Quintyne steers down to third man for another single. No fireworks yet with Windies' openers playing it cautiously, probably sensibly.
A wide from Brunt as she strays leg-side - in fact two of them as Amy Jones makes a meal of the take. Quintyne then guides down to third man and that wasn't too far away from Lauren Winfield as a few England players think a catch is in the offing.
Bad news for England - pace bowler Anya Shrubsole has been ruled out of the rest of this ODI series.
Having missed the first two games with a left side strain, the ECB tell us Shrubsole "has developed severe joint pain in her neck" and will return to the UK in the next few days. England won't be calling out a replacement at this stage.
England head coach Mark Robinson said: “It is disappointing news, and I know how frustrated she is that she won’t get the chance to make an impact on the series.
"But we have already shown what a versatile bowling attack we have in the first couple of matches out here, so I am sure that the players will all continue to work hard together and put in some strong performances in these final three games.”
A couple to Quintyne off her legs, a single and then Matthews cuts aggressively for two more as Sciver goes too short and wide. Off the final ball Matthews nearly chops on to her stumps but gets away with it.

Have you ever had a cricketing nightmare the night before a game, when you dream that you're next in and you can't get your pads or any of your kit on? Charlotte Edwards used to have that exact dream - and she always dreamt that I had to go in because she wasn't ready!
Stephan Shemilt adds: I think everyone who's ever played cricket has had that one.
Feel free to send us any cricketing dreams or nightmares you've had...
Katherine Brunt aborts her run-up for the second time as Hayley Matthews pulls away. Then she floats one wide of off stump but Quintyne isn't tempted and lets it go. Wide again from Brunt and it's short. Again, Quintyne takes the cautious approach and doesn't go after it. Finally Quintyne guides one down to third man
Brunt doesn't look happy with her the surface at the crease, giving it a kick. She comes back and induces a leading edge from Matthews but it doesn't carry to a fielder.

I think the pitch may have slowed down a little bit.
Nat Sciver at the other end for England and some away swing from her too and Matthews hits straight past her for a single. Quintyne then nudges off her hips to get off the mark. Impressive start from Sciver and Brunt - not offering much for Matthews and Quintyne.

I make England the favourites - but only slightly. Katherine Brunt will prefer these conditions to those in Montego Bay as it's muggy and you think there could be a little in it for her. I hesitate to use the word "gloomy", but it's not as sunny as we've been used to in Jamaica.
Full with some late away swing first up from Brunt and Matthews is right behind it. On the fourth ball Brunt strays leg-side and the Windies get going with a leg bye.
Shaquana Quintyne the other opener and she is beaten by a beauty - almost too much away swing to find the edge. Good sign for the England seamers though.
Katherine Brunt, predictably, takes the ball first for England. Hayley Matthews to face...
