Tea at Edgbastonpublished at 19:14 British Summer Time 26 June 2017
Warwickshire v Lancashire 219-5
I spoke about this last week - I don't like it.
They're only just going off for tea at Edgbaston. Why do you have to make things more confusing?!
Essex's Harmer takes five wickets; Cook passes 50
Lancs' Buttler & Hameed out cheaply
Duckett scores 89-ball century
Stokes out for a duck for Durham
Fifties for Surrey's Roy, Burns & Sangakkara
Gary Smee

Essex 4-0 v Middlesex 246
Alastair Cook and Nick Browne will open up for Essex. The floodlights are indeed on and needed as the skies begin to cloud.
Tim Murtagh has the new ball. Second delivery, four through the covers from Browne.
Lovely stuff.

You're the sort of punter the ECB wanted to attract Jacob! At least it looks like the floodlights will be useful at Edgbaston.

These little fellas are being switched on up and down the country now.
They'll definitely need them at Edgbaston - I'm not so sure about Chelmsford.
Warwickshire v Lancashire 204-5
Shivnarine Chanderpaul is just ageless.
The Guyanese batsman turns 43 in August, but he may as well be turning 23.
He's just carted Boyd Rankin for his 13th boundary to move to 83. Lancashire have gone past 200 meaning a first batting bonus point.
Durham 197 v Worcestershire 17-1
Ah, that's why the big Australian all-rounder has been sent in at three for Worcestershire...

Yorkshire v Surrey 271-4 - tea
Mark Church
BBC Radio London commentator
Another cracking session of cricket at Headingley. Jason Roy and Rory Burns took the afternoon by the scruff of the neck as they put on 147 for the third wicket.
Roy played some wonderful shots until he was lbw to Jack Brooks for 87. Burns played extremely well until he got a brute of a delivery from Tim Bresnan and was caught behind for 90. It was a significant wicket for Bresnan, his 500th in first-class cricket.
Kumar Sangakkara is looking ominous on 31 but from what we are told life could become tougher for the batsmen when the lights come on.
Durham 197 v Worcestershire 6-1
England paceman Mark Wood has struck in his second over, tempting Worcestershire's in-form opener Daryl Mitchell to nick behind.
Worcestershire have sent John Hastings in at three - what's all that about?!
Thanks Felix.
And I arrive with news of another wicket at Chester-le-Street...
While it may not feel like a natural break time, and we may not yet know exactly what to call it, now marks the second interval of the day.
That means I will hand back over to Gary Smee, who will take things to close - whether it be floodlit or not.
Division One
Division Two
Erm, our live scores page seems to have been driven loopy by the 'tea', 'supper', 'beer and wine' interval.
Hopefully it'll sort itself out after the 20-minute break.
In the meantime, here are the latest scores...
Yorkshire v Surrey 271-4
They will be no century for Rory Burns as he edges Tim Bresnan behind to wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow. It's a landmark 500th first-class wicket for Bresnan too.
He battled hard in his 186-ball innings, which included 14 fours, but will be disappointed to fall short of three figures.
Essex v Middlesex 246
Middlesex are all out for 246.
Steven Finn is the last man to go, as he offers Ravi Bopara a return catch that he gladly accepts.
Toby Roland-Jones ends 11 not out. But it was the contributions of Stevie Eskinazi (66), Dawid Malan (60) and Paul Stirling (77) that got them to that total. Simon Harmer the star for Essex, taking 5-77 from his 20 overs.
Hampshire 153-4 v Somerset
James Vince (34 not out) and Sean Ervine (10 not out) cannot afford to be complacent against Somerset.
The hosts have lost four wickets in the middle session today and need to get to the break without another loss. Sensible batting from them so far.
Sussex 234-4 v Gloucestershire
Sussex's Luke Wright said he stepped down from the captaincy earlier this season to concentrate on his batting - well it's working.
He brings up his 17th first-class century off just 100 balls.
It's his first in the Championship since September 2015.

Steve Burnett: Essex tearing Middlesex apart and prob the biggest champ crowd since Gooch. Day/Night cricket a complete success at Chelmsford.
Pleased to hear it Steve. Let us know what the crowd is like where you are using #bbccricket
Notts v Kent 180
Jake Ball finishes the Kent innings by bowling Mitch Claydon without scoring.
It's another rampant display of pace bowling by the Division Two leaders.
You've got to feel for Daniel Bell-Drummond. The Kent opener is left high and dry on 84.
Yorkshire v Surrey 262-3
Kumar Sangakkara is doing his thing. The Sri Lanka great has raced to 28 from 26 balls, making it look supremely easy, with three fours and a six.
Rory Burns is still there on 84 and Surrey are in a commanding position at Headingley.

Ben Tomaney: Durham's scorecard looks like it's been printed upside down.
Stephen Williams: Day/night cricket a great idea but more advertisement needed about entry for last session and cost. Apparently Edgbaston is free
