  4. Bears 66-3published at 8 overs

A lot of pressure on the shoulders of Dom Sibley now. The required rate is 10.5 as Grant Elliott comes in.

  5. wicket

    WICKET Hose (c&b D'Oliveira) 1published at 7.3 overs

    Bears 64-3

Good captaincy from Joe Leach. He's seen the effectiveness of the slower bowlers and the change works immediately.

Brett D'Oliveira sees the back of Adam Hose, who smashes one back at the leg-spinner, who takes a sharp catch. Bears in trouble now.

  6. Bears 63-2published at 7 overs

    Sibley 31, Hose 1

Mitchell Santner looks very difficult to score off out there. The left-arm spinner has 2-12 from his three overs.

Pressure is now on new Bears Dom Sibley and Adam Hose.

  7. wicket

WICKET Hain (st Cox b Santner) 2published at 6.3 overs

    Bears 61-2

Very sharp work behind the stumps from Ben Cox. Lovely combination, with Sam Hain completely out-foxed by Mitchell Santner's 47mph delivery. His back foot slides out of the crease and the bails are removed.

  8. Bears 60-1published at 6 overs

    Sibley 29, Hain 6

Good end to the Powerplay for the Bears. Dom Sibley creams a short one to the fence before a big full-toss from Joe Leach ends up at the fine-leg boundary.

Sam Hain pulls Leach's final ball to the boundary, too - 16 runs off that one.

  9. Bears 44-1published at 5 overs

    Sibley 20, Hain 1

Excellent stuff from Mitchell Santner. He goes for just one off the over, with the final ball prompting a stumping appeal. Dom Sibley is fine, but sharp work from Ben Cox.

One over of the Powerplay left.

  10. wicket

WICKET Bell (c Brown b Santner) 15published at 4.1 overs

    Bears 43-1

Ian Bell is not a cat it turns out. He used two lives, but falls on his third go. He slices a Mitchell Santner delivery to Patrick Brown at short third-man, who takes a simple catch.

  11. Bears 43-0published at 4 overs

    Sibley 20, Bell 15

Ian Bell is living a charmed life out there at the moment. He mistimes one, but a retreating Mitchell Santner can't grab it.

It's a better over from John Hastings, but with four byes there's still nine runs off it. Bears on track at the moment.

  13. Bears 34-0published at 3 overs

    Sibley 19, Bell 11

Vintage Ian Bell. The former England man skips down the pitch second ball to Mitchell Santner before timing it over extra-cover for four.

Bears take eight from the left-arm spinner's first over and have started brightly, but in a very different manner to Worcestershire.

  14. dropped catch

Bell dropped by Tonguepublished at 2 overs

    Bears 26-0

Phwooaarrr. That's gorgeous from Dom Sibley. John Hastings' first ball is pumped past mid-on for four before he slaps a leg-cutter through the offside to the fence.

He gets off strike before Josh Tongue drops a sitter at short fine-leg to give Ian Bell a life.

Sibley finishes the over with a powerful back-away-and-hook shot for another boundary. He has 18 already.

  15. Bears 12-0published at 1 over

    Sibley 5, Bell 4

Josh Tongue is a highly regarded fast bowler, but he starts shakily, firing a wide down the legside below he allows Dom Sibley two balls on his pads to get away.

A slower-ball bouncer is then dispatched by Ian Bell and the Bears are off to a flier - simply by playing conventional shots.
