We have still got drizzle here at Eden Park but we do have Henry's first appearance of the day. Henry is a blowing machine that is blowing hot air on the outfield.
Maybe that is a positive sign but the sheet is still over the pitch and the radar doesn't look promising. There is more rain to come. It doesn't look very welcoming.
The close of play is 21:30 local time but we can go on until 22:00. There are still five hours to go.
New Plymouth is in New Zealand if anyone is wondering by the way.
The ground held a women's T20 match between New Zealand and West Indies earlier this week.
Stunning.

The prospects of getting some more play today are getting slimmer and slimmer by the minute.
The forecast isn't great for the rest of the evening in Auckland (see below).
However the forecast for tomorrow has improved dramatically and it looks as though we may get the full amount of overs on days four and five.
If anyone is coming to this page wondering why it is full of beautiful cricket grounds and not updates of New Zealand v England, it's raining.
We have only had 17 balls today before the rain came and the players trudged off. That was at around 00:40 GMT and we haven't had any play since.
We're discussing the most picturesque cricket grounds in the world to pass the time.
Wow, wow, wow. Now that is a beautiful cricket ground.

It has stopped raining in Auckland! Wooop.
That's good news but having studied the radar Jonathan Agnew thinks there might be more rain to come.
Fingers crossed we can get some play soon.
Thanks for that Tom. Cricket has been played in Gibraltar dating back to the early 1800s so there's a long heritage of the game there with the British presence.

I'm getting pretty jealous at some of the places you've all played cricket.

We've had 17 balls and four runs all day. It's still raining and the sky looks as filled in with dark clouds and rain now as it has done in the past two days. It feels little more ominous and prospects look bleak. Even some of the locals here look resigned. There's nothing happening here at the moment.
It's still raining in Auckland. Here's the latest from Aggers...
My colleague Tim Abraham next to me tells me he's played there, Craig. Looks impressive.

Good shout, Jamie. Warkworth is another one I've been too. You may be able to guess that I'm from up north.
