    Somerset 34-3 - target 203

Tom Abell is away with a single, but James Hildreth can make nothing of Chris Jordan's final delivery. Sussex in a very strong position here.

  2. wicket

WICKET Trego (c Wiese b Jordan) 5published at 4.4 overs

    Somerset 33-3 - target 203

First bowling change from Sussex as Chris Jordan replaces Jofra Archer, who has 2-15 from his first two overs.

He tries a slower ball, but James Hildreth spots it and finds the gap at mid-wicket for four.

A single takes him off strike and Peter Trego hits a full toss straight to mid-on from the next ball. That's a waste of a wicket for Somerset.

    James Anderson
Lancashire and England fast bowler on BBC Radio 5 live Sports Extra

Johann Myburgh has not timed that at all and he's hit it straight at Delray Rawlins at cover point.

You can see what he was trying to do but it was well bowled by Archer.

  4. Postpublished at 4 overs

    Somerset 27-2 - target 203

Somerset need a substantial partnership to stabilise their run-chase. Peter Trego and James Hildreth, two Taunton veterans, are the men with that task. Just three from that Tymal Mills over.

I remember watching Jofra Archer in Championship cricket and just seeing how he moved the red ball - I was impressed.

I've seen him bowl balls well over 90 mph in this tournament - to have that talent is really exciting to see.

  6. wicket

WICKET Myburgh (c Rawlins b Archer) 22published at 2.5 overs

    Somerset 24-2 - target 203

Actually, it's cue Queen's Another One Bites The Dust.

Johann Myburgh tries to give himself room to swat the ball over the off-side ring, but doesn't get hold of it and Delray Rawlins accepts a straightforward chance.

  7. 6 runs

    Postpublished at 2.2 overs

    Somerset 22-1 - target 203

Jofra Archer again and Johann Myburgh pounds the first ball back past the startled bowler and down the ground for four. The next one is 90mph and he times it to perfection over the square leg rope for the first six of the Somerset innings.

As we told you earlier, Myburgh retires following Finals Day and it looks like he's determined to go down in a blaze of glory. Cue Bon Jovi.

  8. 'Somerset need to start well'published at 16:09 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Kate Cross
England bowler on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

There is only one way Somerset can play this innings, it's going to be a tough ask - they need to start well, win that power play and keep wickets in the shed.

  9. Postpublished at 2 overs

    Somerset 12-1 - target 203

T20 specialist Tymal Mills offers left-arm variety from the other end, but the angle suits Johann Myburgh, who collects a boundary from his opening delivery and then flays the ball over cover for another later in the over.

  10. wicket

WICKET Davies (c Briggs b Archer) 1published at 1 over

    Somerset 3-1 - target 203

Jofra Archer, the most talked about young fast bowler in county cricket, has the ball in hand.

He permits only singles before surprising Steven Davies with some extra bounce and the ball flies off the shoulder to point where Danny Briggs takes a leaping catch.

Right then, Steven Davies and Johann Myburgh are out there to face Sussex's strong bowling attack. Can Somerset chase this target down?

    Sussex 202-8 (20 overs) v Somerset

Just to give you an idea of the scale of the task facing Somerset when it is their turn to bat, their highest score in a T20 match against Sussex is 177-4 at Taunton in 2011, and their best total at Edgbaston is 192-7 against Warwickshire in 2009.

They did, however, exceed 200 four times on the way to Finals Day, but only once when batting second, when they made 226-5 in a five-run defeat by Kent Spitfires.

  14. 'It was good fun out there'published at 15:59 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

Sussex's Luke Wright on BBC Radio 5 live Sports Extra:

It was good fun, obviously we know we needed a good score against a very good batting line-up.

I feel my role is when the young lads are playing well I just thought i'd try and play around them and then we got that big over against Jamie Overton and carried on from there.

I had no idea that it was a record score on a T20 finals day, I would have liked to have got 100 but we have got a good score but we have to bowl well.

We've given ourselves a good chance.

My word! What a 20 overs that was to try and keep up with.

Let's try and put it all into some sort of context for you...

  19. wicket

WICKET Archer (run out) 3published at 20 overs

    Sussex Sharks 202-8 v Somerset

Last ball of the innings and another wicket falls for Sussex.

Jofra Archer is run out trying to come back for a second run but Sussex have amassed 202-8 at the end of their innings.

Huge total, but it could've been even more at one stage. Can Somerset take some of that late momentum into their run chase?

  20. wicket

Sussex's innings whimpering to a conclusion a bit here.
