West Indies captain Jason Holder, speaking to the BBC: "That was the perfect performance. All of the bowlers put in an outstanding effort. Oshane is an impact player for us and it's good to see him make this breakthrough. He was quick, aggressive and consistent, and he caused trouble. He was well supported, though, and it's been a total team effort with the ball and then Chris stole the show at the end. Chris ia a champion. It's great to see him bow out in the Caribbean like this and I want to say congratulations to him.

"Overall, winning today means a lot for us. We're building something nicely as a group. We need to be more consistent now and string together more wins and wins some series."

Ruth Brooksbank: I don't usually gamble, but I think it's worth putting a tenner on the Windies to win the Cricket World Cup.

West Indies captain Jason Holder: "I am really proud of the guys. It has been tough for the bowlers but they have arguably won us two games.

"A small total can sometimes cause problems but the intent we showed was fantastic. Chris is going to be Chris but we want to show intent, attack in the powerplay and keep momentum.

"We are heading in the right direction. It is a matter for us to be consistent. Our batters held their hands up high. The bowlers had some trying times on good surfaces but arguably won us two games. We have to be consistent with everything we do."

West Indies' Chris Gayle: "It's been a fantastic series - to be able to tie it 2-2 is great. The bowlers deserve credit. Chasing a small target, you can be wary. I wanted to put them on the backfoot early. Eventually I took the momentum in the first over and it went from there. I think we will get some respect as a unit after this, going into the World Cup. We're very capable of winning games in England and beating any particular team out there."

Chris Gayle is named player of the series.

England captain Eoin Morgan: "We struggled throughout the whole innings with the bat to deal with and adapt to conditions. Extra bounce is not something we come up against very often. We struggled massively. We were way off the ball and West Indies forced us into a lot of errors today. It was pretty much a one-horse race.

"It is quite difficult to curb what has been a natural reaction for a couple of weeks. We need to get better when we come up against different conditions. It is never easy for any side but we need to adapt and find a way to score runs and manage our innings.

"I think you have to rock up in a good enough head space to adapt to any conditions. I would like to think we could learn from our mistakes takes today and look forward rather than back."

Oshane Thomas, who took 5-21: "The wicket was giving good assistance today for the pace bowlers. The English guys are great batsmen. I have learned a lot coming in to this series as a young fast bowler."

This will give us a big boost, being in such terrific form is fantastic for me. I can't fault the effort from the guys. It's been a great series and I'm happy we tied the series. I think it's my best ODI series stats-wise. I had some good series in India but this one is outstanding and to do it at home is fantastic.

"The captain said after the last game that he can't understand why I'd announce my retirement when I'm hitting the ball so well. Today, I picked up the wrong bat to play with."
