Tim Paine has been caught on the hook quite a bit in this series. Craig Overton tries to tempt him into going for another big yahoo but he rather flaps at it, and it trickles lamely away for a single.

This is a chance for England. Paine has been out of touch.
Joe Root is taking a long time to set his field to Tim Paine, and Stuart Broad has come over to offer Craig Overton some advice.
Stuart Broad has just jogged up to the crease and rearranged the bails while Steve Smith was going through his pre-delivery preparations.
An attempt to throw him off? It's not worked, mind, as Smith carves a short ball from Craig Overton away for a leisurely single.
Joe Root, wearing his own cap and Jack Leach's, looked like he was terrified of dropping that catch.
Tim Paine is the new man at the crease and he drives his first ball firmly to cover.
If Jason Roy played that shot...

It was a very good catch. There is a swirling breeze and Root had an awful long time to wait for it.
How frustrating must that be for Steve Smith? It's how Wade plays I guess.
Wade c Root b Leach 16 (Aus 224-5)
Oh, what a terrible shot!
This is a horrible, horrible dismissal from Matthew Wade! He's been wanting to get after the spin and he comes charging down the pitch to Jack Leach. It's not timed, though, Wade shovelling the ball up into the air, and Joe Root does really well to steady himself despite the gale that's blowing across the ground and take the catch at mid-on.
Steve Smith moves into the nineties with a simple whip through mid-wicket for a couple of runs.

Vaughan is right, Smith is a freak. Would you rather have one Steve Smith in your side or two Joe Roots? I'd take one Smith all day. How many Roots would you need to be offered before you choose him over Smith?
Chris, choosing one Smith over four Roots, London
Very tidy from Craig Overton, and Australia have to content themselves with just a single.

Steve Smith is the Stephen Hendry of cricket - the guy is almost unbeatable!

Hello!
Craig Overton is coming round the wicket to Steve Smith and Smith gets into a bit of a tangle trying to parry it away. He ends up getting struck on the hip and the ball trickles into the leg side for a single.

England have had a lot of huddles in the last 24 hours. I am led to believe there were a few stern words dressing room last night. The finger was pointed that the attitude of a few wasn't right.
The management have seen something in the last few days, particularity yesterday, that is not right. They are trying to put that right with a few honest words.
Smith 87, Wade 16
Ha! An absolute beauty from Jack Leach, spinning past Steve Smith's outside edge, and even Smith inclines his head and nods towards Leach in acknowledgement.
Leach has a little grin on his face as he strolls back to his mark.
And Steve Smith promptly whips his next ball delightfully for four!

I think Smith was just about back in his ground.
Oh, Steve Smith is never going to get out ever again.
He sets off for a quick single, realises that Matthew Wade isn't coming, and he somehow turns and dives back into his ground as Jonny Bairstow shies at the stumps.
