Oooh. Stuart Broad gets the last ball to move late and Steve Smith nearly flicks it down the leg side to Jonny Bairstow but just about misses.

Australia have Death and Taxes at the crease.

Turns out neither of those is as certain as Stuart Broad removing David Warner in this series though.

Noticeable how much David Warner is booed on the way out, compared to how little Steve Smith gets on the way in. One has earned respect with weight of runs, while the number of runs for Warner to earn that respect probably doesn't exist. On Board's dominance of him, it's reminiscent of the way Andrew Flintoff went round the wicket to stunt Adam Gilchrist in 2005.

  7. Aus 38-2published at 8 overs

Steve Smith walks across his stumps and a leg-side delivery flicks the pads before streaking away fine for four leg byes.

Shot! Smith gets off the mark in fine style, driving through the covers for four.

David Warner ends the series with 95 runs at an average of 9.5.

    Jack Leach averaged 13.5.

Warner went 35-7 against Stuart Broad.

    These are wonderful numbers.

Steve Smith has never scored a fourth innings century. Australia need him to do that and more.

He plays out his first two deliveries from Stuart Broad.

    Warner c Burns b Broad 11 (Aus 29-2)

    Broad's bunny.

Has any bowler ever had such a hoodoo over one batsman in a single Test series?

Stuart Broad draws David Warner into the loose drive with a bit of shape away, the ball deflects off the outside edge and is snaffled by Rory Burns at third slip.

The seventh time Broad has removed Warner in 10 innings. Utterly stunning domination.

  14. Aus 26-1published at 6.2 overs

Marnus Labuschagne gets off the mark as he greets a full ball from Stuart Broad with a handsome off drive that beats Jofra Archer's dive and goes away for four.

Oooh, is an off stump going cartwheeling the best noise and sight in cricket?

The noise that Old Trafford made after the sight of Nathan Lyon dropping the ball, having been waheyed all day, pushes it close.

That is perfect bowling from Jofra Archer. If he keeps it there then there will be wickets.
