Just as you say that Ilyas, the sun comes out. A better over for Pakistan, just the one from it. Shadab is getting another go though.

Ilyas Najib: India doing what India do, dominating. The rain can’t come soon enough for Pakistan.

That is Rohit Sharma's 66th score of 50 or more in ODI cricket, 23 of which he's converted into centuries.

A lovely innings. He is smart enough to know which bowler to attack.

50 for Rohitpublished at 12 overs

Seventeen off the over and that final four brings up a 50 for Rohit Sharma off just 34 balls. Destructive.

The last thing Pakistan needed was this from Shadab Khan.

    Ind 79-0published at 11.5 overs

That's more like it! Shadab Khan has had an over to forget, been way too short and now he chucks up a full toss and Rohit spanks a massive six. And then four more!

Pakistan need to settle down. They've been unnerved by this start from India, the fielding has been poor and there has been some loose bowling aside from Mohammad Amir.

  13. Ind 69-0published at 11.3 overs

    Rahul 27, Rohit 40

Shadab's first ball is dross, short and wide and given the treatment it deserves as KL Rahul chops it away for four. He's just as short second time up but there's only one on offer.

Rubbish again! Smashed high into the skies but they only run two, should have had a boundary there.

When Rahul went for the quick single in the sixth over, although clearly in his crease - at the moment the bails were taken off he was not in contact with the ground - is that technically out?

    Dean in Salford

It used to be, but the ICC changed the rule in 2017 so that once the bat has been grounded behind the crease, the batsman will not be run out if it raises off the ground when the bails are dislodged.

Fresh from that horrific throw, Shadab Khan is on to bowl.

Pakistan need to be better in the field.

  17. Ind 62-0published at 11 overs

Imad gets some spin for the first time, squaring up KL Rahul a treat. There's another risky India run, Shadab Khan's throw is wide of the keeper and the stumps - Rohit would have been a goner!

  18. Ind 61-0published at 10.3 overs

KL Rahul sweeps fine for four more and then dances down the track to lift Imad away for another three. There's an acceleration in run rate on the cards and a swell in crowd voume to match.

Pakistan have been an absolute shambles this morning. I think this game might be done already, such a disappointment!
