350 might be a tough ask but this is a good pitch. It's not nibbled around like Pakistan hoped it would.
Rahul 7, Rohit 25
WOOOF! Fetch that! Rohit leans back and flicks Hassan Ali away for the first six of the day, it just clears the boundary. Beauty.

Ar Vind: I’ve got friends who’ve landed in Manchester from the US last night and catching flights back tonight after the match. This is what it means to the fans from subcontinent.

A diving, desperate effort but no chance.
Hassan Ali tries to bounce KL Rahul but the pitch hasn't got the pace to trouble him, the batsman can roll his wrists and pull it away for a single.
Rohit then frees his arms and slaps a drive through point, it was in the air but just wide of the diving Imam Ul Haq and away for four. That temporary stand ignites in a sea of blue!
What a sight.
In the Indian city of Ahmedabad, fans are offering special prayer for victory inside their local temple.
There's plenty of home-made signs today.

Imad Wasim told Mohammad Amir to be careful as well and there was a bit of an argument. It's very early for the Pakistan team to be falling out with each other.
Umpire Bruce Oxenford is running a tight ship about Amir running on the middle of the pitch. That's another word in the ear, Amir was very fractionally in the 'red' area on his follow-through.
Amir could be taken out of the attack, theoretically.

Mohammad Amir is gambling with the short ball because he knows Pakistan need wickets. he was looking for a top edge but Rahul controlled that brilliantly.
Rahul 6, Rohit 14
Rahul pulls Mohammad Amir away, he doesn't get all of it but that's safe enough in the powerplay and trickles away for a boundary. The crowd is a six away from self combustion I reckon.

This is not a good sign for Pakistan. They've won the toss and bowled but inside four overs they've gone down to one slip.

That's the sort of miss that Pakistan really can't have today.
Rahul 2, Rohit 14
Shot! Rohit leans in and punches Hassan away for a beautiful four, cracking off drive which beats the diving fielder. The outfield is slow, not surprising considering Manchester has been wetter than an otter's pocket over the last few weeks.
