It's easy to lose count in this format. This World Cup started before the Champions League final, which already feels an age ago.

Action will be taken to punish fans involved in "scuffles" at the World Cup match between Pakistan and Afghanistan at Headingley, says the International Cricket Council.

Videos on social media showed fans clashing outside the ground and a group trying to break through the gates between the main road and the ground in Leeds.

Fans were also seen jumping over the fence that surrounds the ground and gaining access to the concourse behind the Western Terrace.

An ICC spokesperson said they were aware of "some scuffles among a minority of fans".

Pakistan chased down 241 to beat New Zealand on Wednesday, their target today is lower and the pitch is more benign, I reckon.

You'd make them strong favourites from here. Babar Azam's century was a delight. More of the same?

Martin Guptill has just taken an absolute snorter of a one-handed catch as well to leave Australia 46-3.

Australia are the only team definitely in the semi-finals as it stands and they are having a bat against NZ at Lord's.

You can follow all the action over here - but here's captain Aaron Finch getting snaffled.

Pakistan will be pretty happy and Afghanistan pretty disappointed with that I reckon.

From the position they were in, a score of more than 227 looked on.

Well done Pakistan. Afghanistan batted first in good conditions and could have posted 280 but they coudn't put it all together.

Ikram really sucked the life out of their innings, they need to sort out their batting order.
