An excellent delivery from Trent Boult gets Dom Sibley playing and missing outside the off stump. That was the off-cutter I think. It kept pretty low and dribbled through to Tom Latham behind the stumps too.
Offt, that's a cracker. Boult drops shorter and it raps Sibley on the gloves. He plays it well, in fairness, as he drops it just off the square.
New Zealand look reasonably threatening.

I don't understand why Watling needs a substitute - he's scored 205 and showed no signs of injury. He's probably pretty tired but I don't think that comes within the laws of cricket.

Tim Southee is getting some good carry through to the keeper. It just shows what freshness can do.
An excellent diving stop at mid-on prevents Dom Sibley getting off the mark before he shoulders his arms to a wide one.
Like in the first innings, Sibley brings up his first runs with a clip to the mid-wicket fence.
