We’ve just had the biggest cheer of the match so far. Parkinson lbw Parkinson 29 on Monday has been followed by Parkinson lbw b Parkinson 4 today.
The twin brothers from Bolton have got each other out in exactly the same manner: half forward to a ball pitching on leg stump and straightening.
It was even the same umpire, and he used the same finger to give both decisions.
If that doesn’t go in the annual “index of unusual occurrences”, I don’t know what will.

Middlesex 260 v Derbyshire 169-4
The long winter months are beckoning, and Leus du Plooy and Harvey Hosein are making the most of their opportunity to say farewell to summer with some batting practice at Lord's.
They have added 68 in 20 overs so far, with Hosein 43 not out and du Plooy on 40. Derbyshire trail by 89 with 25 overs left in the day's play, if the light holds. And that may be a big 'if'.
