I'm a big fan of the names of the two ends at this ground. The far side to us is known as the Snake Pit End, with the near one the Graveyard End. Because there's a cemetery behind us.

That six spoiled an otherwise excellent over from Jordan.

That's not a good ball though.

A slower ball that just sits up and Andile Phehlukwayo clatters it over deep square leg for six.

An over-excited man falls over throwing the ball back.

  4. SA 162-4published at 17.3 overs

Wide and full again from Jordan and Smuts can only scythe it to the edge of the ring for a single.

  5. SA 161-4published at 17.2 overs

Top bowling. Wide and full outside off as JJ Smuts had backed away. Dot ball.

  6. SA 161-4published at 17.1 overs

Good start from Jordan as Phehlukwayo slices it to cover for just a single.

Chris Jordan, who conceded 40 off his last three overs in the third ODI, is back on.

His one over today cost 14.

I think this is the lowest percentage of England fans in the crowd so far this tour. Buffalo Park doesn't get a lot of international cricket, so the locals have come out in force, plus East London isn't quite on the tourist trail like Cape Town.

  9. SA 160-4published at 17 overs

    Run rate 9.41

Andile Phehlukwayo pirouettes outside his off stump and just deflects it past his stumps for a single.

    Damage limited by Stokes.

  10. SA 159-4published at 16.5 overs

JJ Smuts taps into a gap towards long on and scrambles back for a second. Same gap again but not hit as well this time and that's just one.

Andile Phehlukwayo misses on the cut but Ben Stokes has overstepped.

That's a no ball and a free hit.

  11. SA 155-4published at 16.3 overs

Ben Stokes bangs it in and JJ Smuts sweetly swivels it round the corner for four.

    Terrific noise off the bat.

And now JJ Smuts cracks a front-foot pull shot through wide long-on for four. Brutal.

Tom Curran is taking a lot of punishment.

Just one from the last ball but 13 from the over despite the wicket.

    Hello!

Andile Phehlukwayo steps back and clatters his first delivery over deep extra cover for six.

    No sighters needed.

Initially it looked as if the ball might elude Jordan, but he makes those catches look so easy

    Miller c Jordan b Curran 16 (SA 135-4)

If you'd want one person to be trying to take a catch over their shoulder running towards the fence...

Chris Jordan is that man. No drop from him as he snaffles a David Miller skier going back from mid-off.

Important to get Miller out before the final few overs.

Tom Huffinley: England’s fielding so far has been nothing short of embarrassing. Team selection is just as bad. No Malan and no Banton is really poor.

  20. SA 135-3published at 15 overs

Ben Stokes is trying to follow JJ Smuts as he backs away but goes too far and bowls a wide. Stokes reckons Smuts gloved it but the umpire does not agree.

Smuts baseball swings out to the deep but picks out the fielder and that's just one.

David Miller can only pick up one off the last as Eoin Morgan fumbles the ball slightly.

Decent over from Stokes - seven from it.
