Aus 36-1
A brief - and largely unnecessary - check for a run-out as Lanning knocks a quick single to short third man. Healy is nearly past the stumps by the time Taniya Bhatia removes the bails.

Just the three bowlers used so far as left-arm spinner Gayakwad - memorably bowled by Anya Shrubsole for the final wicket of the 2017 World Cup final - has changed ends. Meg Lanning is already looking in her usual imperious form, helping herself to a well-run two.
Anyone nursing a shoulder injury may not want to watch this...
Target 133
Australia have had a tactic of sending Ashleigh Gardner out to have a slog if they lose an early wicket in the powerplay - but with only two balls of the field restrictions left, they send captain Meg Lanning out instead.
Pandey has bowled well, she has 1-9 from two overs.

That's a huge wicket. Beth Mooney has been very consistent at teh top of the order. She has flayed that to backward point.
Mooney c Gayakwad b Pandey 6 (Aus 32-1)
Pandey strikes! Beth Mooney, who'd not hit a boundary, tries to force the pace and the ball flies off an edge, looping up for a fairly regulation catch at backward point.
Shikha Pandey, one of cricket's headband-wearing warriors (along with Jack Brooks, Hamid Hassan and the like), chats with her captain Harmanpreet Kaur between overs. Like Alex Hartley suggested, she's quite difficult to get away.
Here's the first of our highlights from the Aussie innings, as Alyssa Healy hits a couple of early fours.

Target 133
With a required rate of around six-and-three-quarters, Australia are doing well to bustle along, playing risk-free cricket.
They need 103 from 90 balls, with all 10 wickets in hand. And they bat deep.
While Henry and Alex on TMS recount how they ran into Henry Blofeld last night ("he was firing on all cylinders and very much in mid-season form"), India keep Deepti Sharma going, and Australia are happy to tip-and-run singles.
Target 133
Healy, batting outside her crease, lofts another four over the umpire's head. She has 22 from 17 balls, rather hogging the strike compared to her partner Beth Mooney who has two from seven.

As a team, we really struggled to face Shikhar Pandey. She gets a lot of swing and the batters didn't know where to stand.
There appears to be a mass dance-off happening beyond the boundary as India turn to seam for the first time - in the shape of Shikha Pandey.
Given that Pandey is a squadron leader in the Indian Air Force, perhaps her bowling might be classed as military medium?
Need 114 from 102 balls
India look rather deflated - but Sharma keeps it tight, only conceding a leg bye from her first five deliveries. Healy tries to use her feet to the off-spinner, knocking the last ball to long-on for one to quash Sharma's hopes of a maiden over.

As a bowler, I wanted that rule changed.
Aus 17-0
That pitched an absolute mile outside leg stump - and India have utterly wasted their review.

That looks out.
Sharma to Mooney, who's hit on the pads while attempting a pull shot.
India immediately go for the review, but I think that pitched outside leg...
Target 133
Mooney's not had much of the strike, but she and Healy are knocking the ball around well in these early stages.
The TV coverage's win predictor already has it as 86% for Australia.

Healy was saving her runs for the tournament. She did it before the West Indies two years ago.
