Australian cricket journalist Adam Collins on Twitter: The one time Pakistan’s women beat England in a T20, back in 2013, was wild. Chasing 116 at Loughborough, the hosts were cruising early before losing 10/87, bowled out on the final ball. Unlikely to happen again today but Pakistan were superb against the Windies.

"God Save The Queen" is belted out by the England squad, arm in arm.

What would be a good score for them today?

Anthem time - Pakistan's up first, it sounds like the full orchestral version.

There's the usual array of England supporters up in the stands, including many of the players' families. And those umpires Amy mentioned - four of them, all dressed in white coats - are also in much demand for selfies.

Teams are in the tunnel... Danni Wyatt looks very chatty with the young mascot she's been assigned to walk out with.

I don't want England to go into their shell. I want to see the openers express themselves, they have the batting depth below them to do so.

Must-win games do create pressure but I think England will perform under pressure here.

I'm confident England will win this comfortably.

I'm not saying Pakistan would be a tough opponent but England on their day have a much better side.

Captain Heather Knight, meanwhile, would happily play T20 on this ground for the rest of her career - the four times she has passed 50 in the shortest international format have all been at Manuka Oval.

Here's a few of her best bits from Wednesday:

So, England unchanged - and keeping to their batting order, despite Amy Jones and Danni Wyatt not quite firing at the top of the order yet.

  16. Captain's viewpublished at 07:36 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2020

England captain Heather Knight: "I was going to bat, I don't think it matters too much. The pitch looks a bit slow, hopefully we can put runs on the board and defend it.

"Opening in T20 is sometimes feast or famine. We back our openers all the way, they're two world-class players. Pakistan have improved a lot."

  17. Captain's viewpublished at 07:36 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2020

Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof: "We are bowling first because it's a good wicket and the ball was coming on nicely in the last match.

"We need to put them under pressure and capitalise on that.

"The last game gave us a lot of belief, we need to execute our skills.

"We have one change - Sadia Iqbal is in for Anam Amin."

Brilliant - no-one could remember who won the toss, so Heather Knight had to point out that it was her opposite number, Bismah Maroof, that called tails. Lovely stuff.

  19. Tosspublished at 07:33 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2020

There's a bit of a delay while it's determined by the match referee what Bismah Maroof actually called - but Pakistan have won the toss and will field.

    England are unchanged.

While their opening loss to South Africa did not derail England's semi-final hopes, it did leave them operating without a safety net.

Should they lose to Pakistan, it would leave them needing several other results to go in their favour.

Despite filling their boots on net run-rate by thrashing Thailand, the Proteas' win earlier today leaves them in pole position.
