Target 114
An expensive spell for Siriwardena ends - she has 1-42 from four overs.
India need 10 runs from 42 balls.
Ind 103-3
...but Rodrigues is nearly past the stumps by the time the bails light up.
Deepti Sharma tip-and-runs a quick single to short third man, it's a direct hit...
Target 114
Siriwardena has switched to the Fitzroy Street End for her last over. Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma chip away at the target with a couple of singles, while Rodrigues emulates Verma's cover drive from the first ball of the innings with a sweetly-struck four. 13 needed.
Rodrigues 3, Sharma 6
A change of ends for Dilhari - and with a left-hand/right-hand combo taking plenty of singles, plenty of field changes. Deepti Sharma takes note and perfectly bisects long-on and deep mid-wicket with a powerful lofted four.
To be fair to the Sri Lankan fans inside Juncion Oval, they're still waving their flags, banging their drums and tootling their trumpets, but they must know the game has pretty much gone. 19 needed from 48 balls.
Target 114
Deepti Sharma in at five for India. She's off the mark, and there's barely a cloud in the Melbourne sky as the procession towards victory continues.
Prabodhani has finished her spell with figures of 1-13 from four overs. She's bowled pretty well, but India have found easy pickings elsewhere. They need 25 more.

That's the one criticism of Shafali Verma you can make. She doesn't run well between the wickets, she often just cruises.
Verma run out 47 (Ind 88-3)
To be fair, she was dawdling a bit there as Rodrigues called her through for a single.
But if Sri Lanka were reduced to bowling for run-outs, they've got one.

The body language is not positive from Shafali Verma.
Sri Lanka are going for broke here and are going to bowl Prabodhani out. Rodrigues and Verma can probably afford to see off her last over - but they pick up a couple of singles.
Hang on, they think they've run her out...

India could take the game away from a side in the semi-final by batting first and posting over 180.
If Shafali Verma gets going, she could take the game away from anyone.
Target 114
New bat Jemimah Rodrigues is off the mark with a single. Verma goes all the way over to the off side again but can't connect, the keeper misses it and it's four byes!
India are halfway through their allocation of overs, and only need 28 more runs. From 60 balls.

Harmanpreet Kaur just got stuck a little bit and was trying to do what Shafali Verma is doing.
Kaur c Karunarathna b Siriwardena 15 (Ind 81-2)
Harmanpreet Kaur's innings ends rather tamely - spooning one up in the air as she tries to heave towards cow corner, and is well held.

That is incredible. She's walked outside of the widest white line on the off side to open up that part of the leg side.
What is she doing there? Verma has the arrogance of youth - she walks across her stumps to the off side, to the extent she's actually outside the return crease by the time she makes contact with the ball, hammering Siriwardena for four through square leg.
The only glimmer of brightness Sri Lanka have had in this innings was the wicket of Smriti Mandhana:
Target 114
Verma is motoring towards a half-century. She has 41 from 30 balls, Kaur is up to 15 from 12.
Here's Verma's first six of the day. It may not be her last.
