We'll have to check it on Hake-eye.

Six runs from Alzarri Joseph's first over after lunch with Sibley taking a quick single off the final ball. It was tight - and Joseph gives the fielder a glare for his stiff effort - but good intent from Sibbers.

He took it on straight away, first ball. They're hard catches to take but I don't think he picked it up or expected the batsman to go for it first up. I think Joe Denly has got away with it.

Joe Denly is insistent on trying to get out pulling. He whacks his first ball after the break out to deep square leg and it bounces just in front of the fielder.

    Sibley 31, Denly 1

A maiden to start from Roach. Sibley is happy to let the ball go by. He has 31 from 129 balls. It's not thrilling batting but, in my mind, we can't moan when England bat aggressively and then do it again when they bat slowly.

I'd be telling Gabriel that you got three overs here and you've got to go and bang it in hard.

The one thing I would say on that Burns dismissal is I have definitely seen him cut in the air like that before. I remember a few Australians yelping in anticipation last summer. Only so long you're going to get away with it.

It is Kemar Roach to start us off and he is greeted by a solid Dom Sibley block.

I've just seen Rory Burns at lunch. He walked past me and looked me with that knowing look and pretended to kick everything he saw with frustration.

I'd say 99.9 times out of a 100 you'd back Burns to knock it in the gap for one or cut it for four. He just made a mistake. And that's what batting is about,. If you make mistakes like that then you don't make the big scores.

He will be kicking himself. There was a hundred out there for him today.

How heavy is a mole? Would you notice the extra weight in your bag? Probably not.

    Here come the players.

Judging by Kemar Roach's purposeful stride I reckon he's going to begin with the ball.

At Old Glossop CC there was a dead mole doing the rounds in first team kit bags a few years ago. Nobody would admit to anything though. Guilty as charged!
