Admit it, Alex. You've missed it.

This could be the final over of the day. Mark Wood steals a single from the first ball. Being far away from Shannon Gabriel's bruisers is a good place to be right now.

I was going to say England will be happy to get to the close now but West Indies won't mind a night's sleep before coming again tomorrow.

Archer steers the final ball of the over down to third man for four. Nice batting from, Jof. Who knows. His batting may prove crucial after his selection over Broad?

Well, this one is over. Batting first was a mistake with so many nerves around and so much time off the pitch. However, the omission of Broad was a colossal mistake. Can't help but think his bowling in the West Indies first innings would have limited their score much more.

    Archer 1, Wood 0

Two in the over for Gabriel. Mark Wood joins Jofra.

It looked to be pace that has did for Pope there. Lively bowling late in the day.

    The lead is 165. I don't think that's enough.

That is a huge wicket. A big one. Well done Shannon Gabriel, who looked so stiff earlier. He's come roaring back with bounce and pace. That makes things interesting.

    Pope b Gabriel 12 (Eng 279-8)

Massive, massive trouble for England now. Ollie Pope is out.

Pope plays a short-ish delivery from Gabriel onto his stumps.

The West Indies celebrations ring around this empty stadium. They believe. They really believe.

Played completely down the wrong line. The big man has got a wicket. He may be stiff and finding it all hard work but he's got a good attitude.

    Bess b Gabriel 3 (Eng 278-7)

    Comprehensively bowled.

We've seen a lot of stumps being rattled in this match. Is it rustiness? Maybe. Shannon Gabriel is too good for Dom Bess.

While Pope remains, England's hopes of posting a lead of 200 or so remains. But they will have to bowl well.

  15. Eng 277-6published at 101 overs

    Lead by 163

Roach has bowled a lot better than those figures suggest. He's being well supported by his fielders who have found their voices again late in the day.

Holder still has to have his field spread with runs crucial and Pope takes one to the fielder in the deep.
