And that, I'm afraid folks, is that.

It's been non-stop rain in Manchester and the umpires have had no choice but to give up the ghost.

It's still miserable at Old Trafford. It is going to be a long while before we get any play, if at all.

We've made a quiz for you to help pass the time.

48 players have scored centuries in matches between England and West Indies since the Windies last won a series on these shores in 1988.

    How many can you name?

    Have a go here.

More from Sam Curran on TMS: "All our bowlers have got different assets. I think Bessy might come into the game. We're pretty confident we've still got enough time in the game to win this. It's very frustrating. Fingers crossed we get some sort of play."

Matt Henry is currently writing a quiz for you all to do while we wait for it to stop raining.

His first question to me? "Amy, how many seconds are in 10 minutes?"

    So it's going well.

England all-rounder Sam Curran, speaking to Test Match Special: "It's not ideal. The position we're in now is great but the rain, we can't do anything about it. It's maybe going to come down to us bowling them out twice in two days.

"The West Indies bowelrs swung the ball consistently and that was really exctinig to see in the dressing room. Last night was about trying to back up Broady and Woakesy, who started really nicely."

  12. I don't feel great in the nets - Stokespublished at 11:03 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

More from Ben Stokes, who made 176, on Sky Sports: "I'm happy with where everything is at the moment, but I'll still be going away and working on things and trying to get better.

"I don't feel great in the nets - everything feels quicker, escpecially if Jofra and Broady are bowling.

"I do a lot of boring stuff. I get a lot of underarms to make sure my bat is coming through straight. If you look after the basics, then everything looks after itself."

  14. 'Sibbers is the rock'published at 10:59 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

Ben Stokes, who made 176, speaking to Sky Sports: "The bounceback we showed from the Ageas Bowl has been brilliant - after losing the toss, to go on and make 450-plus, we're really happy as a team."

On his century, made off 255 balls: "Different. Playing the situation was a big part in that - and understanding what to do at different times throughout the game.

"I always try and look at the scoreboard and see where we are in the game. It's a lot easier when you've got someone like Dom at the other end - he's not going to go outside his bubble."

On Dom Sibley's resilience in his 120: "It's amazing. It's what he bases his game on. To have him at the top of the order and be that rock... He knows the role he has for us. I'm over the moon for Sibbers that he's been able to go on and make some big scores. I'm very pleased for him."

  18. What's the weather forecast?published at 10:53 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

BBC Weather's Ben Rich: "It is not the day you would choose for a day of cricket. We have a lot of cloud and outbreaks of rain.

"Through a good part of the day the rain will come and go. It will be on and off with periods of where it will stop but it will start again.

"We could get heavy rain afternoon in the afternoon but there is a chance by 16:00 BST, 17:00 or 18:00 it might dry up.

"You may get a bit of play later on. Tomorrow should be a lovely day."

Big news from Old Trafford: it's Carlos Brathwaite's birthday!

Happy birthday, Carlos! I imagine there's nowhere he'd rather spend it than locked inside a room at a drizzly Old Trafford.
