Grim in Manchester. The drizzle that was hanging around early this morning has turned into steady rain that is forecast for most of the day. It could be a long Saturday in the bio-bubble.

It was a tough day for West Indies, who spent 162 overs in the field before Joe Root declared at 469-9.

They lost John Campbell just before the close, lbw to Sam Curran, but Alzarri Joseph, possibly my new favourite batsman, herded them to the close without further loss.

They trail England by 437 runs. If they ever get back out there.

Ben Stokes did Ben Stokes things, hitting his 10th Test century before accelerating in superb fashion.

The last video below is possibly my favourite thing he's ever done. Especially with the Fleabag-style look to camera. And that's a long list to choose from.

Yesterday, Dom Sibley logged the longest innings - in terms of balls faced - by an England opener not called Alastair Cook since 2003.

He reached his second Test century, and first in home conditions, from 312 deliveries.

    It's raining.

And when I say raining, I mean rain. Irritating, drizzly, not-moving-any-time-soon weather.

The weather has no respect for Test cricket, does it?
