Stokes has replaced Stuart Broad in the attack. Broad's last over was eventful. He almost had a wicket and was then hit for a couple of fours...
Crawley was diving full length for that catch. He didn't get a finger on it, I don't think. He's a big lad is Crawley. If he can't get there then not many will.
Michael Vaughan
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special
Where has Stokes been? I think we need to know what the position is with Ben Stokes and his bowling. He didn't bowl until the last half hour in Southampton. Today he's been the last bowler used.
Is it now that England can only bowl him so many and they don't want to unless they have to? He's Ben Stokes - use him a bit more if he's fit to do so.
Almost a wicket with Stokes' first ball! Kraigg Brathwaite edges wide of second slip.
Funny that. Bowl Stokes and something happens. We haven't seen that before...

He's from Hartlepool. Of course he's a top umpire.
Here's Ben Stokes! Finally.

Brathwaite 55, Brooks 8
I'm absolutely with Stephan on this. Umpire Gough's hat is perfect. It looks like he irons the brim of it every morning.
Brooks has made a flamboyant start. He flicks Broad off his pads for four more.

Umpire Michael Gough is having a good game, but can we also take a moment to appreciate his sunhat. Extra wide brim. The sort of thing that could take an astronaut into space. Magnificent.

Sound the Sam Curran makes things happen klaxon.
This is how he saw off Shai Hope earlier...
Shamarh Brooks is another West Indies batsman that is nice to watch. He flicks Sam Curran away with plenty of style.
It's another boundary. These runs are important with England likely having to enforce the follow-on to win.

Test Match Special statistician
This is Kraigg Brathwaite's 27th score of 50 or more in Test cricket. It's also his fifth 50 plus score against England.
The two boundaries in that over were just like this one two overs previous...

West Indies all-rounder on BBC Test Match Special
I'm really happy for Kraigg. I had some chats with him before the tour and he was really up for it, really passionate.
We've got a lovely battle on our hands. Kraigg Brathwaite follows those two lbw appeals by driving Stuart Broad down the ground.
That takes him to a patient, important fifty.
Brathwaite repeats the shot a ball later. Same result.

Broad was a little late to join the appeal that time.
Another lbw appeal.
This one might have been a tad high.

West Indies all-rounder on BBC Test Match Special
Something didn't look right about it. It was close but I thought it was just outside the line. This could be a dangerous period - Broad has his tail up.
A close one. It was umpire's call on impact. England keep their review but don't have the wicket they were after.
My initial thought was Brathwaite may have got outside the line...
