That ball, honestly, didn't rise any higher than Jermaine Blackwood's ankle.

Not sure I'd fancy batting last on this...

That ball has kept cruelly low.

    That was unplayable.

    Blackwood b Broad 0 (WI 248-6)

    Well, that's comprehensive.

My word, that's kept low! Jermaine Blackwood can do nothing about this, pinged in from Stuart Broad and there's bails and stumps all over the show as it scuttles through his defences.

  7. WI 247-5published at 84 overs

    Trail by 222 runs

Roston Chase celebrates his reprieve with an inside edge that just whizzes past the stumps and rolls away for four.

Chase then ends up on one leg, bottom hand off the bat, as Curran's finally delivery rears up at him and gives him a thwack.

It was pitching outside by an absolute fraction.

    It just didn't look right.

Ah. It's, er, pitching outside leg stump.

    Well done, Roston Chase.

  11. Postpublished at 16:51 British Summer Time 19 July 2020

This might be going down. It is very leg-sidey.

It's leg-side-ish. If England have got this it's a big wicket.

    Out! Roston Chase, lbw!

He reviews it straight away as Sam Curran wheels away in celebration...

On Jofra, this isn't his first run-out. He did some running on the outfield at 7am, whilst wearing PPE. His net is taking place under strict protocols - only he can touch the balls, for example. West Indies have been informed and have given their approval for Archer to be out and about.

    Need 28 to avoid follow-on

Jermaine Blackwood, fresh from his 95 in Southampton, has got the unenviable task of facing a very, very up-for-it Stuart Broad.

And that's an awful shot, no feet, flashing outside off stump, and Blackwood is lucky that hasn't taken the edge.

Well batted Shamarh Brooks too. That was a good innings.

You know how I said plumb?

Hitting middle stump out of the ground. Sensational.

Absolutely plumb! Broad hasn't bothered looking behind to see if the finger has gone up.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 82.2 overs

Brooks lbw Broad 68 (WI 242-5)

Stuart Broad is SO much fun.

This wicket has everything. One of the plumbest lbws you could hope to see, Shamarh Brooks actually starts walking off, Broad doesn't even bother to appeal, just runs towards the slips with his arms raised, and the umpire raises the finger out of habit than anything else. Thoroughly enjoyable.
