Dowrich c Woakes b Broad 37 (WI 197 all out)

All over, Stuart Broad has six.

After driving beautifully for four, Shane Dowrich has an ugly heave and just skies it to Chris Woakes at mid-on who takes a simple catch.

England lead by 172 and Stuart Broad has 497 Test wickets.

I must admit there have been times in the past where I've not been a huge fan of Stuart Broad.

I used to think he bowled too short - either by design or fault.

But, the way he bowled last summer in the Ashes and in these two Test matches has been superb. The biggest compliment you can always give someone is that you notice when they are not there and that is the case with Broad.

Tom Sweeney: Stuart Broad is becoming undroppable... backed his words up with actions.

Sam Brookes: Broad is bowling better than he ever has. I don’t know why there is all this talk about him being on the way out. Got another 4 years in him yet.

Alphonse Rawlinson: Send Broad out to open. What a match he's having.

After Shane Dowrich takes a single, Shannon Gabriel manages to survive the final two balls from James Anderson.

    Shot!

James Anderson bangs one in, halfway down the track, and Shane Dowrich just crashes it to the mid-wicket fence. A proper stand and deliver shot.

Shannon Gabriel is usually hapless with the bat so Stuart Broad could have his sixth wicket soon.

I've really warmed to Shannon during this series though and got a thumbs up from him last night.

Shannon Gabriel is the last man in, and they turn down a single off the final ball of the over as he gets a leading edge down to fine leg after attempting a drive.

    Probably a wise decision.

This is Stuart Broad's 18th Test five-wicket haul.

That's a fine grab by Joe Root low down.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 62.5 overs

    Roach c Root b Broad 0 (WI 188-9)

Oh, Broady is on a roll.

He put himself under pressure with his words in the first Test of the series but boy has he backed them up in the two Tests at Old Trafford.

He gets a little bit of movement away and Kemar Roach can't help but have a drive at it and a thick edge is well caught, low down, by Joe Root at first slip.

    Broad has five.

    Cornwall lbw b Broad 10 (WI 188-8)

Out! Stuart Broad is clawing this morning back for England.

England are probably pretty relieved that Rahkeem Cornwall didn't tee off but probably not as relieved as Michael Vaughan as he doesn't have to strip off now.

Cornwall is another Windies batsman who doesn't get forward and England will want to finish this off quickly now.

    Stuart Broad has struck again!

And, Michael Vaughan has let out a sigh of relief as it's Rahkeem Cornwall he's trapped in front.

The spinner decides to review, though.

You'll be nervous if Rahkeem Cornwall gets into the 90s with one wicket to go, Michael.

  17. Analysis: Holder showing Dowrich how to play the short ballpublished at 12:17 British Summer Time 26 July 2020

Shane Dowrich has had his deficiencies against the short ball in this series so far but he's looked, on the whole, more solid today.

He could do worse than looking at Jason Holder to learn how to play the short ball, though.

You'll be able to see more analysis from our experts on Today at the Test on BBC Two and iPlayer at 19:00 BST.

I get the feeling that Rahkeem Cornwall is going to try and enjoy himself here.

An upp-ish drive brings him two before he swivel pulls for a single.

Unsurprisingly, he strolls the single despite a second possibly being on.

If West Indies get another 50-plus partnership here, particularly with the gloomy forecast tomorrow, it could go a long way to them drawing this match and retaining the Wisden Trophy.

Here's the wicket of Jason Holder.

Chris Woakes will be delighted that his overstepping misdemeanour only cost England eight runs.
