    WI 10-2, target 399

That's it for the day, Stuart Broad is left on 499 Test wickets.

But, what a day he's had. What a day England have had.

I've not seen Stuart Broad bowl this fast for a long time.

Full, straight and well kept out by Shai Hope.

I fancy Stuart Broad to get his 500th Test wicket in this over.

Jeremy Leese: Broad will never be truly appreciated as a bowler until he's gone. Anderson always more adored, but much of what he did needed to be done in partnership with Broad, and his figures stand comparison with the very best.

  6. WI 10-2published at 5 overs

Good accurate stuff from James Anderson and it's another maiden. He's gone for just two off his three overs now.

We are going to get another over in. Can Stuart Broad take his 500th Test wicket tonight?

  7. Postpublished at 18:29 British Summer Time 26 July 2020

Jimmy Anderson needs to race through this over so that Stuart Broad gets another in before the 18:33 BST cut-off.

Stuart Broad has got Shai Hope hopping round all over the place.

  10. WI 10-2published at 4 overs

What an over from Stuart Broad.

He draws the edge of Shai Hope and it drops short of the slip cordon and goes away for four before a perfect yorker is well dug out by Hope.

    Superb from Broad.

Oh my that almost bowled him. It missed the stumps by a coat of varnish.

  12. WI 6-2published at 3.4 overs

    Wow, that is close!

It's an absolute beauty from Stuart broad, shaping in, and Shai Hope is stuck on the crease, turned inside out and the ball just about evades the edge.

Broad was very to the edge, the stumps and 500 Test wickets there.

Ever since Stuart Broad came on this morning England have been pretty close to perfect.

Yeah, they scored a bit slowly this afternoon, but wow what a day they've had.

    He is absolutely on it.

Things could not be going better for England.

Stuart Broad could well get to 500 Test wickets this evening then.

    Roach c Buttler b Broad 4 (WI 6-2)

Stuart Broad has two and 499 Test wickets!

It's the perfect line and length from Broad. There's a little bit of movement off the seam and Kemar Roach - who is normally a number nine at best don't forget - can't hesitate having a little prod and he gets a thick edge through to Jos Buttler.

    Nightwatchman = failed.

Stuart Broad could be man of the series despite missing a Test.

Though Ben Stokes might have a say.

Sheeno: There’s an argument to say we should drop Broad for one game more often if this is how he reacts.

Manu Iribarren: Stuart Broad is other worldly levels of good. If he’s playing like this and 2 of Sibley, Burns, and Pope develop nicely, we’ll have a good go at Australia next winter I reckon!

  19. WI 6-1published at 3 overs

James Anderson is really targeting the pads of the Windies batters here. It's hardly surprising considering their tendency to get stuck on the crease in this series.

Kraigg Brathwaite does just enough to jab his bat down and deflect the ball away to fine leg and get off strike.

Offt! And again. Jimmy is right on the money here and Brathwaite again just about defends it back down the pitch. If he misses that he's a goner.
