Well played, Dom Sibley. You feel that they are looking to get on with it now.

Well batted, Dom Sibley. That is his fourth 50+ score in Test cricket.

It came up as he rocks back onto the back foot and carves behind point for three more.

A nice stroke by Rory Burns, using the angle from Kemar Roach bowling round the wicket.

  7. Eng 103-0published at 37 overs

Shot! Rory Burns uses the angle and deflects it to the deep-backward square fence for four more. England's lead is up to 275.

This is England's first century-opening stand since 2016 against Pakistan. Hopefully the first of many between this pair.

I think a direct hit would've had Dom Sibley in real trouble there.

  9. Eng 98-0published at 36.2 overs

It looks like Dom Sibley and Rory Burns have had a chat during tea about showing more intent with their running, if not their shot selection.

They scamper through for another single as Jermaine Blackwood's throw misses the stumps.

Would England want to declare and leave West Indies to chase 350 with two days to go? It's such a wonderful conundrum.

I'd like Dom Sibley to have a hard sweep in his locker, to get rid of some of those men around the bat.

  12. Eng 97-0published at 36 overs

    That's better from Dom Sibley.

It's not the type of intent you're all thinking but he leans on a forward defence and picks up a single.

Rotating the strike is an area of his game he's got to work on, from his short Test career so far it looks like he gets stuck in a bunker too often.

Remember, we could be relying on the light holding on Tuesday too.

    A maiden.

Mood only helped by the fact that Gabriel Jesus has given the Blues the lead...

I didn't like it when they moved Pointless to BBC Two for the daily Covid-19 news conference!

My lockdown regime was based around Escape to the Country, Flog It and then Pointless.

Good reponse from Rahkeem Cornwall, just a single off the final four balls of the over.

  19. Eng 93-0published at 33.2 overs

    Sibley 46, Burns 39

    Intent from Dom Sibley!

The right-hander throws his hands at a cut and it slices away fine for four runs.

Rahkeem Cornwall will also continue after the break.

He's got good figures of 0-13 from his seven overs so far.
