Bazza: Eoin Morgan showing how tough cricket can be. No rolling around in pain here.

  2. Aus 69-3published at 11 overs

    Finch 32, Stoinis 25

Marcus Stoinis is bamboozled completely by a Rashid googly - as he was in the World Cup semi-final last year if I remember rightly.

England go up for the appeal but replays show it was a good decision not to review.

    Aus 68-3published at 10.4 overs

Finch finally cuts loose against Rashid and clobbers the England spinner back down the ground. The expression on Rashid's face tells you he got that one wrong.

  4. Aus 60-3published at 10 overs

    FInch 24, Stoinis 24

Tom Curran's second over is a good one. It costs just four runs.

Australia are halfway through their innings. They're going to have to up their scoring rate considerably.

Ewan: Not sure what's more painful to watch. Morgan's finger dislocation or England's last lbw review?

Eoin Morgan is a tough man. He's come straight back on and now he's chatting to his bowlers.

  7. Aus 56-3published at 9 overs

    Finch 22, Stoinis 22

I'd almost forgotten Aaron Finch was still batting. He's had so little strike recently. He does not look as comfortable against Rashid as he did the other day.

Eoin Morgan is running back on already. Pop the finger back into place and job's a good 'un.

Morgan is now leaving the field. Jos Buttler will stand in as skipper.

That has made my tummy turn. Not nice. Morgan looks like he wants to stay on the field, although Sam Billings is primed to come on.

The top of his right finger wasn't facing the way it was a few minutes ago...

Ewwww. It looks like Eoin Morgan has dislocated a finger in the field. The end of it looks to be pointing in the wrong direction. He waves the physio on immediately.

Let's look back on better times for the England skipper...

    Finch 20, Stoinis 20

Archer bowled incredibly in those first two overs. Let's just celebrate that.

Stoinis is dominating the strike at the moment. Here he slices an attacking stroke badly, only just clearing mid-off.

The Jofra bashers always make me chuckle - none of them can be bowlers! Full speed for four overs is one thing but keeping your speeds at over 90mph for 20-odd overs in a Test innings is a different kettle of fish entirely!

Jordan is smashed by Marcus Stoinis for a bruising six. The Aussie all-rounder is dangerous.
