David Merson: I reckon 294 is about par.
Thank you, Kalisto.
Just on time for the players to return.
294 is more than Australia looked like they would get, and probably more than England would have liked them to get.
Still, England are England. It should be a good game.
And that's me done for now. Taking you through the start of England's innings will be Stephan Shemilt.
After Adam Zampa came and went, Mitchell Starc ended things on a high, smashing Chris Woakes for this huge six.
There was an end of term feel for England out in the field as they spend their last week in the bubble. This clip of loveable Mark Wood ducking for cover twice really sums it up...
Captain Eoin Morgan just about held on as Cummins departed...
Before Marsh's fine innings also came to an end...
An eventful three balls from Jofra Archer saw the England seamer smashed for back-to-back sixes, before Maxwell chopped on.
But then it was all about two men.
Half centuries for Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh, including a partnership of 126 between the pair, brought Australia back into the game...
Two wickets for Adil Rashid then left Australia reeling, with England firmly on top...
Marcus Stoinis, in at number three for the injured Steve Smith, batted well for his 43...
Before falling to Wood, with Jos Buttler taking a smart grab.
Mark Wood struck with his first ball of the game to take the wicket of Aussie captain Aaron Finch...
Just joining us? Here's what's happened so far today.
It was a perfect start for England, thanks to a perfect delivery from Jofra Archer to dismiss pantomime-villain David Warner...

I think England will be slightly disappointed. From 123-5, they could have got through the Australia line-up. They aren't scared of 300, though.

Josh Hazlewood walked off mimicking that shot to a grinning Mitch Starc. It was an absolute monster of a hit.
So there we have it. England need 295 to win the first ODI.
The hosts won't be phased by that target but Australia will go back to the dressing room as the happier team, especially considering where they were at midway through the innings.

BBC cricket correspondent on Test Match Special
What a shot that was! A message like that at the end of an innings can spell trouble for a fielding side.
That has been absolutely clobbered by Mitchell Starc over mid-wicket. A huge shot to end the innings.

Test Match Special statistician
This will be the first time in the history of ODI cricket that five bowlers have sent down 10 overs and gone for in the 50s.
Zampa c & b Woakes 5 (Aust 288-8)
Adam Zampa top edges it, the ball balloons high up and back towards the bowler. The easiest of catches for Chris Woakes. This has been a fine over so far.
