England need 58 from 30 balls
Jofra Archer is next in but it will be Sam Billings on strike, he takes three more from the remainder of Cummins' over to move to 90.
But Billings is running out of partners. And time.

I'm trying to think how to describe that shot. I can't honestly tell you where he was trying to hit it, but he swung himself off his feet.

That went way, way up. Maxwell doesn't miss them. It feels like another nail in England's coffin.
Rashid c Maxwell b Cummins 5 (Eng 234-8)
Adil Rashid was moving around his crease like a spider before swinging wildly, the ball going high, very high, and Glenn Maxwell takes another simple enough catch.

I've always been invested in Ashes series and T20s but have never looked into the excitement of ODIs. Enjoying my first experience of it all.

England need 63 from 34 balls
Pat Cummins to Adil Rashid and a wide outside off gifts England an extra.
Rashid then takes two down to a wide third man before missing out on a full toss.
Josh Hazlewood's IPL franchise like what they have seen this evening...

Zampa 10-0-55-4
Billings reverse sweeps for four (again) and then new man Adil Rashid survives Adam Zampa's last ball of this match.

You can tell the relief from the Aussies. They needed that. It's now Billings or bust.

That's the problem when the run-rate is so high. You have to take risks. Woakes is trying to hit it very straight, but he's skewed it off the outside half of the bat.
Woakes c Maxwell b Zampa 10 (Eng 223-7)
Chris Woakes had to go for it, really. But he can't find the distance and it's an easy catch for the safe hands of Glenn Maxwell in the deep.

You feel like England need a big over from somewhere. A 15.

That was terrible football from Mitchell Starc.
England need 74 from 42 balls
A 90mph ball, in the slot, and Billings digs it out. The ball falls dead at the England batsman's feet and they run through for a single, as Starc's side-foot shy at the stumps misses.
Billings top edges, the ball loops up in the air and between the wicketkeeper and fine leg, in no man's land.
It's full and Billings smashes it straight down past Starc for four. That was hit with some real menace.
Starc has been struggling and was seen taking some painkillers earlier - but, he does have the ball in his hand. Billings on strike.

It's a tall order with four wickets left, but there is life in the old dog.

There's a lot of responsibility on Billings and Woakes to get England close. It will be interesting see how much Starc bowls. I think he has a groin problem.
