Yep, it's that man David Warner again. The Aussie makes it into your T20 team, having also secured a slot in the Test XI a few weeks ago.

He may not be the most popular man in England but it's hard to argue with his T20 record.

Warner has been the top scorer in three of the past five IPL seasons. He was second in one of the other two years and didn't play in the other for sandpapery reasons we won't go into.

Gayle's 175 not out came in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors.

It took him just 66 balls and he propelled RCB to 263-5 from 20 overs.

I don't think there can be many arguments about that one. Chris Gayle's list of T20 teams is longer than a Michael Holding run-up.

The Universe Boss has scored more T20 runs than anyone else, has hit more sixes and has the highest individual score in the format.

His skills may be starting to wane a little but he has still comfortably made it into one of your two opener slots.

Just one housekeeping rule. This T20 team was allowed to include players who have retired from international cricket but are still playing in franchise leagues.

All of the players had to still be currently playing, however.
