Well we did say it's a tricky period.
Three wickets in six minutes I make that.
And a couple more wickets to tell you about...
Worcestershire have just lost Jack Haynes for 21 to leave them 70-3 against Glamorgan at New Road. Seamer Michael Hogan has all three.
Harry Finch, who looked in good touch for Sussex, has also just fallen for 37. Sussex are 90-3 against Kent.
van Buuren c Bell b Miles 33 (Gloucestershire 76-2 v Warks)
And there it is. Breakthrough for Warwickshire.
Graeme van Buuren looked set, but Craig Miles strikes against his former county as Gloucestershire's number three nicks off to England legend Ian Bell in the slips.
15 minutes to go until lunch. Always a tricky time for the batsmen. How many more wickets are we going to see?
Also worth noting this cracking headband being worn by Northants seamer Gareth Berg...
Gloucestershire 74-1 v Warks
Of all the batting sides, Gloucestershire are the ones that have seemed to have best found their rhythm.
After losing skipper Chris Dent early on, Ben Charlesworth (37) and Graeme van Buuren (33) have dug in to bring up a deserved 50 partnership.
Northants v Somerset 63-4
Somerset couldn't ask for two more experienced batsmen to get them out of trouble at Northants.
James Hildreth and Steven Davies have more than 30,000 first-class runs between them.
Both are looking in good touch in a stand which is worth 27 precious runs.
Kohler-Cadmore c Mullaney b Carter 21 (Yorkshire 44-4 v Notts)
Yorkshire are four down.
It's a fine delivery by spinner Matthew Carter. It bobbed up off the glove of Tom Kohler-Cadmore and looped to Notts skipper Steven Mullaney at slip.
Essex 49-3 v Surrey
No hat-trick for Surrey teenager James Taylor as Alastair Cook sees out the first ball of his fourth over.
Big rebuilding job for Cooky and co to do here.
Gary I'm starting to think our cricket judgement has suffered over lockdown.
Surely it's advantage batsman on these pitches?
Durham 42-3 v Lancs
Make that 23.
This time it's Durham's David Bedingham who has to go, caught by keeper Alex Davies off the bowling of Richard Gleeson.
Good spell this by Lancs.
22 wickets have fallen so far this morning. A batting day we said...
Chopra c Borthwick b Taylor (Essex 49-3 v Surrey)
Gone first ball!
Varun Chopra nicks James Taylor to Scott Borthwick in the slips and Surrey's 19-year-old seamer is on a hat-trick!
He'll have to wait for a few minutes though, as that's the end of the over.
Westley c Smith b Taylor 10 (Essex 49-2 v Surrey)
Essex captain Tom Westley is back in the hutch.
The former England man nicks James Taylor behind.
Alastair Cook is still there on 25 as Varun Chopra comes in at four.
Leicestershire 38-3 v Derbs
Dustin Melton comes into the Derbyshire attack and immediately takes a wicket.
Leicestershire are now three down as captain Colin Ackermann is caught by South African Luis du Plooy at second slip trying to play at one swinging away.
Banton b Berg 18 (Northants v Somerset 36-4)
Another start for England batsman Tom Banton, but he can't go on.
The 21-year-old gets an inside edge off Gareth Berg which clatters into the timbers.
He's on his way for 18.
Middlesex 41-3 v Hants
Wickets keep on a tumblin'.
Middlesex skipper Stevie Eskinazi is the latest to go as he's pinned lbw by Hampshire seamer Ryan Stevenson for 18.
Dawid Malan c Moores b Chappell 9 (Notts v Yorkshire 33-3)
Notts are on fire!
Another England international falls at the hands of Zak Chappell as Dawid Malan edges behind to Nottinghamshire keeper Tom Moore.
Where do Yorkshire go from here?
Nottinghamshire are on top against Yorkshire with Adam Lyth and Jonny Bairstow both falling to leave the visitors on 32-2.
Leicestershire are rebuilding against Derbyshire after losing two early wickets. They're currently 37-2.
And Durham are also two-down against Lancashire with Alex Lees going nicely on 18. It's currently 30-2 at Chester-le-Street.
Harry Finch is racing along for Sussex at Kent. He's got 22 off 21 balls to take Sussex to 56-1 at drinks.
Alastair Cook is up to 18 for Essex who are 40-1 against Surrey at Chelmsford.
At Radlett, Middlesex have steadied things a little since falling to 15-2. They're now 37-2 against Hampshire with captain Stevie Eskinazi and opener Max Holden at the crease.
James Hildreth and England man Tom Banton have steadied things since Somerset slumped to 7-3 - they're now 23-3 at Northants.
Glamorgan have picked up a second wicket at Worcestershire, Michael Hogan removing Tom Fell, to leave the Pears 35-2.
At Bristol, Gloucestershire are 29-1 against Warwickshire after losing captain Chris Dent early on.
