  1. 13:00 BST inspection at Tauntonpublished at 11:29 British Summer Time 25 August 2020

    Somerset v Gloucestershire 63-8 (Target 385)

There are a few suggestions that Storm Francis might be blowing through a little earlier in some places.

One of them could be Taunton where they will inspect after an early lunch.

Windy conditions means good drying conditions too.

But it depends how bad the damage has been and no-one will know until the covers are peeled back.

Somerset won't need long though and will wait as long as it takes to get out there.

  2. South Group tablepublished at 11:16 British Summer Time 25 August 2020

    Monday result: Middlesex beat Sussex

Essex will stay top of the South Group no matter what happens today with their game at Hampshire all but certain to end in a draw.

It's Essex against second-placed Middlesex in the final round of group games. Let's hope the weather plays ball - there are some cracking fixtures in a couple of weeks time.

  3. Central Group tablepublished at 11:14 British Summer Time 25 August 2020

    Result: Worcestershire drew with Warwickshire

Worcestershire stay top of the Central Group for the moment, but will be overtaken if Somerset do manage to get back on today and take the final couple of Gloucestershire wickets.

Worcestershire host Somerset in the final round of group fixtures starting on 6 September.

  4. North Group tablepublished at 11:11 British Summer Time 25 August 2020

    Result: Yorkshire drew with Lancashire

The draw in the Roses match sees Yorkshire take 11 points and climb above Derbyshire to the top.

With Derbyshire's match against Durham also likely to end in a draw, Yorkshire will drop back down to second a bit later on.

Don't forget, it's the two group winners with the most points who go through to the five-day final next month.

  5. Draw at New Roadpublished at 11:02 British Summer Time 25 August 2020

    Worcs 410-7 v Warwickshire 355-9d and 68-0

The first game to be scratched was at New Road.

There was very little chance of a natural result anyway.

Central Group leaders Worcestershire will be content with a maximum points draw and they will still have a chance to make the final when they meet Somerset in the final round.

For Warwickshire, this was the finest week of Will Rhodes career with that marvellous maiden double hundred.

  6. Draw at Headingleypublished at 10:59 British Summer Time 25 August 2020

Yorkshire 260 v Lancashire 195-5 - no play Tuesday, rain

No second glances at Headingley where one of the least eventful Roses matches of recent times has come to an end.

Adam Lyth will remember it fondly though, a fourth hundred in a Roses match for him and his first century in any form since September 2018.

    Morning all.

It won't surprise you that we're going to be a bit limited on the live cricket front this morning.

Storm Francis has rattled into the UK, dumped a shed load of rain and now the wind is howling.

Worcestershire against Warwickshire and the Roses match have already been called off and there are delayed starts in the other six games of the Bob Willis Trophy.

All we can do is bring you updates of any further inspections/start times/call offs!
