    Wright c Croft b Livingstone 36 (Sussex 73-5 v Lancs 140-8)

    That could be the game-changer!

Luke Wright tries to spank Liam Livingstone over long-off, but doesn't get hold of it properly and Steven Croft holds on to a low catch.

Is that Sussex's last chance gone? They still need 68 from 43 deliveries.

Someone That You Used To Know...: Are there any contingency plans for Finals Day, given the weather forecast for the next few days? Or will it be an indoor game...?

There's a reserve day on Sunday. After that, I've got no idea! Swim off?

  6. Postpublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 1 October 2020

    Gloucestershire 74-2 (7.5 overs) v Northants 113

There's some dark-looking clouds creeping towards Bristol, but the rain is most definitely not going to save Northants here.

Despite Chris Dent departing for 40 off just 25 balls as Graeme White has him caught behind, Gloucestershire are on course to get this quarter-final done with plenty of time to spare.

All these quarter-finals are being played behind closed doors of course, but thankfully for these fans, Bristol is one of a few grounds where residential properties overlook the pitch.

They're all watching the hosts power their way into the semi-finals at the moment.

    Sussex 49-3 (10 overs) v Lancashire 140-8

Sussex reach the halfway point of their innings as Lancashire leggie Matt Parkinson concedes just three singles off his second over.

The Sharks need another 92 runs off the final 10 overs under bright blue skies at Hove. Skipper Luke Wright is still there on 25.

    Chris DentImage source, PA Media

Gloucestershire seemingly cruising to a big win over Northants at Bristol.

Miles Hammond has fallen for 20, but his fellow opener Chris Dent is keeping the board ticking with 33 off just 19 balls.

They are almost halfway towards the target of just 114.

    Bopara lbw b Hartley 6 (Sussex 45-3 v Lancs 140-8)

Ravi Bopara and Luke Wright keep things ticking along for Sussex as Lancashire turn to spin in Tom Hartley and Matt Parkinson.

Sussex need another 96 off 72 balls. They won't want to let this drift for too long.

Surrey are on their way to Edgbaston.

Match over at The Oval and they have comprehensively got the better of Kent in this quarter-final to win by 56 runs.

Half-centuries for Hashim Amla and Jason Roy helped set up Surrey's 169-2 before Will Jacks did the damage to Kent's top order with 4-15.

The visitors finished well short on 113-7 in reply.

Powerplay done. Game in the balance.

But Sussex have two batsman at the crease, in Ravi Bopara and Luke Wright, with tons of T20 experience.

Sussex need another 107 off 14 overs.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 1 October 2020

    Leaning c Burns b Topley 34 (Kent 110-7)

Special bit of fielding from Rory Burns as Surrey well and truly strut their way to the semi-finals.

Jack Leaning is caught on the long-on rope by the England opener who judges his balance perfectly, firstly taking the catch and then getting rid of the ball as he has to step over for a second to regain his momentum and then steps back on the right side to regather.

    Great all-round performance this.

  19. Flawless start for Gloucestershirepublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 1 October 2020

    Gloucestershire 17-0 (2 overs) v Northants 113

Full and straight from Luke Wood and through Delray Rawlins.

A 14-ball struggle for the young left-hander is over. Lancashire are right in this.

Sussex still need 113 off 90 balls.
