We've just seen Mark Wood in the England changing room actually. He had a lot of strapping on his right shoulder, but was putting his shirt back on, as if he was ready to come back out.

"One more before the newy", shouts Jos Buttler. Rishabh Pant was a bit more reserved in that over, willing to let the ball go by.

  2. Ind 174-5published at 78 overs

    Lead by 147

Ravindra Jadeja keeps the strike as he plays a forward defence, almost down on one knee, past slip and away for a single.

It is quite dark out there. We haven't had a light meter reading taken in this Test match yet.

Ravindra Jadeja, who has come out to bat in his cap, is off the mark straight away.

Rishabh Pant is going to play his shots. He tries to drive out of the rough, and misses, but India pick up a couple of byes.

Well bowled by Moeen Ali. It was quicker and flatter. Moeen has looked good in this game. He has bowled well and accurately. His figures don't reflect it, but he has persevered in this innings.

    That is big for England.

They will have two new batters at the crease when the new ball arrives in four overs.

He so nearly perished that way a few balls before. A little feather and Jos Buttler has the catch. Not a great shot. He salutes the crowd but not in a convincing fashion.

    Caught behind!

Moeen Ali had already beaten Ajinkya Rahane's outside edge earlier in the over, and this time it catches the bat.

Rahane was on the back foot, looking to try and work the ball through point, but gets a thin feather through to Jos Buttler.

Buttler knew. Root knew. Rahane knew. As soon as Michael Gough raised his finger Rahane slopped off.

The physio is out to look at Ajinkya Rahane's hand.

    Has he got cramp?

The physio is just moving it around.

"Two for Shami", shouts Jos Buttler. A couple of quick wickets and England would be among the bowlers and back on top.

The field is spreading for Rishabh Pant. England are hoping he'll just miscue one up straight in the air.

Mark Wood has gone off the field to get checked out properly.

He didn't feel comfortable enough to carry on bowling.

    Joe Root is back on.

There are great efforts and things which are frankly reckless. Mark Wood has hurt his shoulder. What price is that one run?

Mark Wood is ok. The physio comes out and checks him over but he's able to move his arm about.

I don't think he's completely comfortable with it. He is still grimacing and trying to bowl.

    It saved a run.

  20. Ind 162-4published at 73.4 overs

Oh no, what's happened to Mark Wood here?

Rishabh Pant works the ball past slip, and Wood goes haring after it, dives to flick the ball back in but he lands heavily as he topples over the boundary.

He holds his shoulder straight away.
