Joe Root was stood at slip in that over, raising his hands, encouraging his fielders to keep busy and loud.

It has been a frustrating 70 minutes or so for England, but they are creating opportunities.

I said at the start of the session that patience was the name of the game for them. It still is now.

England could have easily got four or five wickets with how well they've bowled. Anderson hasn't been exactly at his best but Overton and Robinson have been brilliant.

If they can get one more wicket, that'll get Virat Kohli out there and they can pile the pressure on the India captain.

Ollie Robinson will continue after drinks.

Jimmy will be the first to admit that he has not bowled well enough to Pujara. But Pujara has looked to be more positive, he's had a clear shift of mindset.

Four more. James Anderson strays again, and Chetesthwar Pujara is able to work it off his pads and down to the fine leg boundary.

Oh, that is a beauty though. He beats a groping Pujara to end the over. That is Anderson's best delivery since lunch, by a mile.

That will be drinks too. India have battled through another hour.

The bowler and fielders gave Joe Root absolutely nothing to go on there. He's pleading with them to just give him something!

That's a superb over from Ollie Robinson. He's been so unlucky not to take a wicket.

  9. Ind 73-1published at 32 overs

No, no, no, no, no. Rohit Sharma was out!

There was a bit of debate about whether he edged it, but it brushed the front pad first. It would have hit the top of middle stump.

That is a HUGE missed opportunity for England.

  10. Ind 73-1published at 31.5 overs

Oh! Joe Root wants to send a review for lbw against Rohit Sharma but the umpires say he's run out of time.

While deciding to review or not, Root is shouting at his fielders: "Has he hit it? Has he hit it?"

    How crucial could that be?

Only one over from Sam Curran. I wonder if Joe Root would like the option of Saqib Mahmood's extra pace.

That's too wide from Anderson. Pujara hasn't had to play at any of it.

  13. Ind 73-1published at 31 overs

Joe Root turns to James Anderson to replace Craig Overton, but again his line isn't quite right and Cheteshwar Pujara is able to let the ball go by.

I know Anderson isn't the happiest of blokes, but he looks miserable. He has a right frown on his face as he walks back to his mark. There's a bit of panting.

He has a chat with Joe Root at the end of the over. Is something not quite right? His pace is a little bit down too.

The trumpeter was playing the Countdown music while we waited for the outcome of the review. Nice.

India look much more mentally switched on today. The conditions have looked really good for batting. It's astonishing to think they were all out for 78 two days ago.

    Four more!

Rohit Sharma flashes hard, and sends the ball crashing to the backward point fence.

England just haven't got it quite right since lunch.

It's a bit of a problem for Robinson that his height means his natural length will so often be taking the ball over the top of the stumps.

Bouncing over the top of the stumps. By some distance too.

There's no bat, but it is has hit Rohit Sharma on the very top of the flap on the pad.

I'm not surprised by this review but my first instinct was that it's not out.
