Thanks, Callum.
All I can do at this stage is apologise. Is it my fault that England didn't take a wicket? Is that how it works?

Rohit 59, Rahul 8

Thanks, Callum.

Time for me to go and have a break.
At the start of the session Ffion Wynne messaged me saying she didn't think England would take a wicket in that session. Low and behold they didn't.
She's here to try and redeem herself. She'll take you through tea and the final session of the day.

Sometimes you just have to say well played to the opposition. England bowled very well, but Rohit and Pujara played lovely.

These two have played really well together. They have done a job for India.

A single apiece for Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara ends the session after that boundary.
A wicketless session for England. India have whittled 78 off England's lead, which still stands at 242.
Banged in from Sam Curran, but it only gets up to the waist of Rohit Sharma and he is able to comfortably pull away to the fine leg boundary.
Not the best ball.

All very easy for India as they take four runs from Moeen Ali's third over.
We've got time for one more over before tea. A break is no bad thing for England now.

On THAT review... Is the moment of the review measured formerly from when hands make contact to form a 'T'? Because Root started the process of making the signal within the time frame, but the 'T' impact came after.

Sam Curran decides to go around the wicket to Rohit Sharma, but the Indian opener is able to comfortable defend and leave the ball.
It is all rather sedate.

I had a tip-off that someone had unfurled a banner in the East Stand that says 'Dawid Malan, the Sultan of Bigitude'. I can confirm it's there, but I have no idea what it means.

Stuart Broad's Bandana: I'm starting to think that my plans to spend my days 4 & 5 ticket refund money were a bit premature.
India are looking to be proactive against Moeen Ali. They are looking to score, both from the crease and by using their feet. He's been tidy enough, though.

Joe Root has brought in another fielder close on the leg side to Pujara. I think that's to encourage Sam Curran to keep bowling straight, by giving him that extra protection because Pujara is such a wristy player, he loves to clip off his legs.

There isn't much happening for Sam Curran, or anyone at the moment. It is all a bit tepid.
Curran has gone for 23 from his four overs. He's relieving some of the pressure.
I don't really agree with that, Paul.
Sometimes at the heart of a poor review is a fantastic umpiring decision and just a shoddy bit of captaincy.
Just ask Tim Paine.

At the heart of every poor review, or lack of one, is a poor umpiring decision.

Here is that missed review opportunity from earlier.
Joe Root ran out of time, and replays showed Rohit Sharma would have been out lbw.
He was on 39 at the time. Remember that - it could prove costly.

Two singles come off Moeen Ali's first over in the second innings.
Cheteshwar Pujara was looking to be busy, coming down the pitch, and there were no real signs of any spin for Moeen.

There's a lot of excitement in the crowd! What's happened?
Oh, it's because Moeen Ali is having a bowl.
