    Tea: Durham 391-9 dec v Warwickshire 87 & 82-4

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Durham got a wicket in the final over before lunch and have done it again in the final over before tea. And it's the scalp of Sam Hain as well. He'd batted nicely for his 21 runs.

He was fighting hard and had faced 70 balls when he got a short one from Brydon Carse which he edged to the slips and into the hands of David Bedingham. Of the two batsmen out in the middle at that point you wouldn't have had money on Hain being the one to depart.

Matthew Lamb, on the other hand, had been enduring a torrid time trying to deal with the pace of Mark Wood, who peppered him with some aggressive short bowling before stepping aside to allow Carse to do the same. Lamb somehow has 13.

Earlier Wood claimed the wicket of opener Will Rhodes for three at the end of the fourth over, while six balls later Chris Rushworth trapped Hanuma Vihari for a second ball duck, LBW, to bring up his 500th wicket in championship-format cricket for Durham.

Rob Yates had also worked hard for his 34 and put on 50 with Hain for the third wicket before Rushworth had him caught at second slip by Scott Borthwick moments later.

Warwickshire are 82-4 and trail by 222 after Durham declared their first innings on 391-9.

A session where the rain was the winner.

Leicestershire's lead is exactly 200. I wonder if they'll declare before close of play today...
