And that concludes our coverage of today's action. We'll be back at about 10:50 BST tomorrow.
Have a good rest of your evening.
Sussex 256 v Kent 145 and 138-2
Not a bad day for Kent.
They avoided Sussex batting them out of the game and have made a fine response with the bat in their second innings.
An unbroken stand of 79 between Zak Crawley and Jack Leaning leaves them with hope going into day three.
Sussex 256 v Kent 145 and 129-2
Two overs remaining at Hove - a hideously late finish even accounting for an extra eight overs being added.
If Zak Crawley and Jack Leaning can survive, Kent will be coming back in the morning in decent shape.
Sussex 256 v Kent 145 and 123-2
An 82-ball fifty for Zak Crawley and he's raised hopes of a Kent revival.
Much to do though - Lancashire had no bother chasing down a sizeable fourth-innings target in the last game at Hove, so Kent will need plenty.
But they have at least avoided another humiliation after being rolled in the first innings.
Durham 246 and 79-1 v Worcestershire 213
Good day's work for Durham.
Chris Rushworth earlier completed the latest five-wicket haul of his career and he now sits level with Graham Onions as Durham's leading wicket-taker.
There wasn't much Worcestershire resistance until Joe Leach came up with an unbeaten 42 down the order to reduce the deficit to 33 on first innings.
But relatively untroubled progress has grown Durham's lead and they have the game in their hands at the halfway stage.
Essex 412-3d v Derbyshire 35-3
Wonderful day for Essex to perhaps get their title defence going again.
Five-an-over progress saw them rush to maximum batting points through sparkling centuries by Dan Lawrence and Tom Westley.
Then an aggressive declaration and three wickets this evening.
It leaves them hoping the weather allows enough time to force victory over the next two days.
Middlesex 172 v Hampshire 131-7
Hampshire still trail Middlesex by 41 but, thanks to a captain's knock from James Vince, they've at least got a good chance of getting up to it and beyond it on day three.
Despite losing so much of the game to bad light and rain, a result is still more than possible.
Middlesex 172 v Hampshire 131-7
Bad light has now stopped play at Lord's too.
Sussex 256 v Kent 145 and 115-2
Nervous Sussex fans?
Twice this season they have squandered tremendous positions at the halfway stage and now Kent have wiped out the deficit only two down.
Zak Crawley is going nicely but it's still an immensely fragile line up and Sussex remain favourites.
Can Kent work up a testing target for Darren Stevens et al to try and defend?
Glamorgan 149 v Yorkshire 69-4
As expected, the light has got no better at Cardiff and they're done for day two.
Joe Root's unbeaten 34 a really smart innings in very much bowler-friendly conditions.
Durham 246 and 71-1 v Worcestershire 213
Will Young and Scott Borthwick have taken Durham's lead into three figures at Chester-le-Street.
If the pair make it through the remaining six overs it will be a very good day for Durham, despite Worcestershire's tail-end rally.
Essex 412-3d v Derbyshire 27-3
Tom Westley asked Essex to rediscover their best form and it's been pretty much there all day.
A second wicket for Simon Harmer now as Leus de Plooy pokes forward and his caught in the gully.
Somerset v Surrey 191-4
And that is indeed us for the day. I think, having been put in, Surrey have edged the second day there.
Somerset v Surrey 191-4
Ah, I wonder if that'll be us for the day at Taunton?

Middlesex 172 v Hampshire 127-7
The key wicket for Middlesex.
James Vince goes for 62, bowled by Blake Cullen, to leave the hosts still in with a decent chance of a first-innings lead at Lord's.
Essex 412-3d v Derbyshire 17-2
Essex really getting at Derbyshire here on this wonderful day for them.
It's Dan Lawrence's day - he floats an off-spinner up to Billy Godleman who simply taps it to short leg.
For some reason Godleman stands there but eventually the finger goes up and his side are in a huge hole.
Somerset v Surrey 172-4
Another big breakthrough as England batsman Ollie Pope falls for 33.
Somerset captain Tom Abell has Pope caught behind.
Surrey are still making decent progress with Ben Foakes joined in the middle by Jamie Smith.
Sussex 256 v Kent 145 and 66-2
Not a bad start for Kent but they have now lost both openers.
Daniel Bell-Drummond is trying to leave Ollie Robinson but doesn't get the bat out of the way in time and flies a sharp catch to third slip.
Kent still 45 behind with 20 overs remaining tonight.
Durham 246 and 28-1 v Worcestershire 213
Patient start to Durham's second innings as they try to build their lead over Worcestershire but they've lost Alex Lees for 12.
The first-innings advantage was only 33 in the end after a fine tail-end rally by the visitors.
Still 16 overs scheduled at Chester-le-Street.
Middlesex 172 v Hampshire 107-6
This has been an important knock from Hampshire captain James Vince, who brings up his half-century.
The visitors now trail by 65.
