Jack Tanner: Has anyone told Sri Lanka this is a T20 game?!
Good over for Sri Lanka with eight runs coming off it.
There was some good productive running in that over which turned singles into twos. They're going to need to keep doing that.

England have given absolutely nothing away. Adil Rashid comes into the attack and you can only imagine he's going to put even more pressure on Sri Lanka.
Adil Rashid comes on to replace Liam Livingstone.

It shows you the strength of England, and their options, at the moment when a white ball cricketer like Moeen Ali can't get in the team.

Sri Lanka have a lot of work to do. They need to at least get the scoreboard ticking along by getting some bat on ball.
Mendis 20, Perera 14
Mark Wood is ramping it up, as he twice beats Kusal Mendis for pace.
The diminutive batsman then decides to try and ramp him off the final delivery. He picks up a single.
What can Sri Lanka get up to here? Eight an over would get them 127, that isn't going to be enough. 10 an over would get them 147. That's a potential game at least.
Halfway through the Pakistan Super League final and Multan Sultans, having been put in to bat, have racked up 206-4 and Peshawar Zalmi will have to complete the biggest run chase in PSL history to win.
Rilee Rossouw hit a blistering 50 from 21 balls and Sohaib Maqsood 65 not out from 35.
You can follow that game via the scorecard here.
Here's how England picked up their second wicket.
As you were, it clearly bounced.
Hello! Surely this isn't out?
Kusal Perera gets an inside edge off the final delivery, and has it bounced off his boot and into Jonny Bairstow's gloves?
Shot!
Kusal Mendis goes in to out and hits Liam Livingstone over the covers for four more.
Are Sri Lanka going to target Livingstone?
Michael Vaughan
Former England captain on BBC Two
It's taken them 7.4 overs but the Sri Lankan crowd love their first boundary. It was a nicely guided four to the vacant space in the field. That is what you have to do when you facing someone with the pace of Mark Wood - use the pace he offers to your advantage.
Andy Zaltzman
Test Match Special statistician on BBC Two
This was the first time ever England have not conceded a boundary in the power play, and the first time Sri Lanka have not hit one. It has happened already in T20 international cricket this year - in a T20 international between Czech Republic and Austria!
Mark Wood responds with an absolute beauty that squares Kusal Mendis up and goes past the edge. That was pacy.
Mendis looks at Wood in appreciation.
A BOUNDARY!
Kusal Mendis guides Mark Wood to the point boundary with a nice cut shot.
There are around 2,000 fans in attendance in Cardiff. The Sri Lanka ones are making some noise now.
Who are Sri Lanka going to target here? Normally when you are struggling you go after one bowler. But England have just brought on the 90+mph pace of Mark Wood, and have Adil Rashid, one of the best spinners in the world, still to bowl.
It isn't going to get any easier.
The extreme pace of Mark Wood is into the attack.
Good luck, Sri Lanka.

Ian: This is no contest sadly. Sri Lanka are in serious decline.
Kevin Ticehurst: Have Sri Lanka forgot how to play 20/20 cricket?!
Ian Bell
Former England batsman on BBC Test Match Special
I don't think Sri Lanka will be reaching panic stations yet. They just need to get a partnership going and it's amazing how much can change once you get a couple of players settled.
