Luke Doneathy what are you doing.

Bloke at the other end is keeping you in the game - just give him the strike!

He tries to go big and only skies a catch to midwicket.

A steepler really well held by the Glamorgan captain.

  2. Durham 226-6 (Target 297)published at 43 overs

    Require 71 in 42 balls

A hint of width offered and Sean Dickson is onto it, cutting hard past extra cover and finds an early boundary.

Joe Cooke then gets one to bounce and strike Dickson on the body.

A dab no more than 20 yards behind the non-striker's stumps brings a scrambled two.

And two more just wide of deep cover.

    11 from the over!

Durham are only a couple of big overs away from making this interesting.

They've got a couple of big-hitting batters in the hutch who could still play a big role.

Sean Dickson got into a strong position there and nailed it over deep midwicket.

Durham have just got to keep hanging in there and playing it over by over.

    Ah here we go.

Sean Dickson says enough is enough.

Goes down on one knee and smears one into the seats over midwicket.

Then tries to go over the offside and miscues it but safely between mid-off and deep cover.

He struggled to get going there Ben Raine so that shot had to come.

They need boundaries Durham from here, but they have proved very difficult to find.

  8. wicket

WICKET Raine c Hogan b Cooke 10published at 40.3 overs

Durham require 99 in 57 balls

    Another massive blow.

Ben Raine never got going and tries to force something, coming down the pitch but miscuing some kind of attempted slap and was easily caught at mid-off.

Simple catch for Michael Hogan and Glamorgan a step closer.

Durham have got to go all out here for their shots.

Ben Raine with 10 off 17 balls can't continue like that if they're to have a chance.

Glamorgan will have to bowl badly to lose this final from here.

  10. Durham 196-5 (Target 297)published at 40 overs

Need 101 more runs to win from 60 balls

We're at the stage of the game where the asking rate is beginning to spiral.

When do Durham try and do something about it?

They need to take this as deep as possible but if they're not careful they'll need two a ball soon.

    This helps though.

Last ball of the over James Weighell just misses his line and gets flicked to the fine leg fence.

    Over goes for 10.

Durham have got to try and go big from here and that is what Sean Dickson is trying to do.

Joe Cooke's done well there with sme well-disguised slower balls.

Dickson just waiting for deliveries in the slot for him to hit through.

  12. Durham 186-5 (Target 297)published at 39 overs

    Raine 8, Dickson 55

Sean Dickson stays leg side of a length ball and cracks it past point for four.

But four dots in the over sees Durham slip further behind.

The asking rate goes beyond 10-an-over now.

Great applause from the Durham balcony, but Sean Dickson knows he's got to stay there and try and take Durham over the line from here.

Terrific bowling from Andrew Salter that. He's prime candidate to be man of the match for me as things stand.

  16. Durham 175-5 (Target 297)published at 37 overs

    Raine 5, Dickson 48

Andrew Salter's final over and he conceded only three singles.

    What a day he's had taking 3-42.

He took the opening wicket with a tremendous delivery and caused problems throughout the innings.

Could well be the match-winning spell.

    Glamorgan 296-9 v Durham 173-5 (36 overs)

    Nick Webb
BBC Radio Wales at Trent Bridge

Glamorgan rookie Steve Reingold claimed the most vital wicket of his fledgling career when he had Cameron Bancroft caught at deep square leg for 55 off a long-hop.

Reingold also dismissed Sir Alastair Cook in the semi-final, so he’s building a useful collection.

Australian star Bancroft shared a stand of 85 with Sean Dickson which looked like turning the match, after Andrew Salter’s three wickets put the Glamorgan faithful in good voice.

Could Glamorgan be about to end their long wait for a one-day final victory?

This game has had the usual share of fluctuations, so it’s not over yet.

  18. Durham 162-5 (Target 297)published at 36 overs

    Raine 4, Dickson 46

A sweet drive from Sean Dickson finds an early boundary in the over.

But then Ben Raine eats up three dots and there's no damage to the asking rate.

  19. Durham 166-5 (Target 297)published at 35 overs

    Raine 2, Dickson 41

Straight away you can see the difficulty getting going on this wicket as Ben Raine chips two balls just short of mid-off.

Another good set for Andrew Salter and the required rate is on its way to nine.

Duncan Saunders: With Trent Bridge near the middle of the country, it was an excellent choice for One-Day Cup final (Durham 153 miles; Cardiff 159 miles).

What is not an excellent choice is Thursday for a final. Disgraceful.

Wouldn't have been saying that if it was Notts v Kent!
