  1. Durham 34-0 (Target 297)published at 8 overs

    Clark 22, Lees 12

Another edge from Graham Clark, this time trying to steer Lukas Carey to third man.

Doesn't carry to Nick Selman at slip this time.

Clark responds by shuffling to leg and slamming one through cover for four.

We didn't see anything like that from the Glamorgan openers earlier.

Clark then picks up a ball just back of a length and swings four more to the midwicket fence.

A life for Graham Clark and Michael Hogan can't believe it.

A horrible, horrible moment that for the slip fielder Nick Selman.

    Durham 25-0 v Glamorgan 296-9

Here's the edge from Graham Clark but Nick Selman can't grasp it diving low to his right.

A tough chance but it just carried.

    Another nearly moment for Glamorgan.

It's going to be a good game this.

You can just feel and sense it. There's going to be a huge role for the first-change bowlers to play and the spinners.

Durham though have got so much potential in their top order.

  5. Durham 24-0 (Target 297)published at 6 overs

    Clark 12, Lees 12

A horrible wide delivery that Alex Lees leans a long way out to try and reach.

It's a flying edge that would have been a catch to second slip but no-one at home.

But the boundary next ball is really nice, struck off the front foot past cover.

He goes again but picks out point.

That would've been umpire's call on DRS that leg before shout if we had all that stuff in play today.

A pretty good decision then from Neil Mallender. This is tough work at the moment for this Durham pair.

  7. Durham 14-0 (Target 297)published at 5 overs

    Clark 12, Lees 2

Alex Lees off the mark with a nudge leg side.

Then Graham Clark caught in the crease by one that nips back.

It catches him on the back pad but Neil Mallender reckons that was sliding down.

Hawk Eye has it only clipping leg stump. Fair decision.

As a captain, I'd be saying to the bowlers, "don't change anything".

They just need to keep bowling their best ball to force mistakes out of the batsmen.

Good start from this Glamorgan new-ball pair.

  9. Durham 11-0 (Target 297)published at 4 overs

    Clark 11, Lees 0

Bit of bounce for Lukas Carey and one goes flying through to beat Graham Clark's cut.

Carey hits the bat hard next delivery and then beats the bat again.

    A maiden.

    Good standards from Michael Hogan.

He's adjusted his length well after the first over and has given Graham Clark very little width there.

  11. Durham 11-0 (Target 297)published at 3 overs

    Clark 11, Lees 0

    Oh hello.

Didn't see too much movement for the bowlers in the first innings but Michael Hogan here has one darting back to beat Graham Clark's inside edge.

How Glamorgan need to remove him early, averaging 88 in the tournament.

He pulls in the air for a long time but just wide of deep square.

I had to do quite a bit of reassurance during the interval to Glamorgan fans I was chatting to around the ground about how pessimistic they are about them defending this score.

But if Michael Hogan bowls 10 tight overs in this, it will swing the momentum hugely towards Glamorgan.

  13. Durham 10-0 (Target 297)published at 2 overs

    Clark 10, Lees 0

More good timing from Graham Clark.

Not a good delivery, full at the pads, but Clark clips it nicely to the midwicket fence.

Lukas Carey from the Pavilion End.

  15. Durham 5-0 (Target 297)published at 1 over

    Clark 5, Lees 0

Lovely start for Graham Clark, offered a little width and he drives with excellent timing past point.

Great signs for Durham, the ball coming on nicely and the outfield fast.

Alex Lees then drives and misses a full delivery.

    Bright start.

    Glamorgan 296-9 v Durham

    Nick Webb
BBC Radio Wales at Trent Bridge

A collective effort from Glamorgan’s lower order has left them with a competitive total especially with 33 from the last pair of Lukas Carey and Michael Hogan allowing them to finish with some momentum.

Kiran Carlson’s sparkling 82 was the main act, but with useful support from Joe Cooke with a rapid 29 and Andrew Salter with 33 off just 22.

Durham were certainly thankful they’d recalled Matthew Potts and Ben Raine after their Hundred duties with the seamers providing the main threats.

But Glamorgan will need more consistency from their bowling attack than they’ve shown in some of the group matches, with all Durham’s top six in decent form. Game On!

  17. Durham require 297 to winpublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 19 August 2021

    Here we go then.

Glamorgan out to try and defend their 296-9 they need very well to post.

Graham Clark will take the first ball from Michael Hogan.
