Manchester Originals, as this worm chart shows, were always behind the curve against Invincibles tonight.
Calvin Harrison supported Brathwaite valiantly with his 23, but the Curran brothers joined forces to take his wicket.
Manchester Originals needed sixes if they were to have any chance of recovering after losing early wickets. They did manage to hit a few mighty blows before falling just short of their total.
The Oval Invincibles halted the Originals' attempts to get off to a flying start, particularly by taking the big wicket of Jos Buttler for just eight.

Tom Curran showed off some innovation to nutmeg himself.

He performed brilliantly with the ball but Sam Curran also entertained us opening the batting, with the classic 'six and out' combo.

"I've bowled a lot with Tom over the years, starting off in the back garden and that, but doing it in front of all these people is what you play for.
"I've been working on a new slower ball over the last couple of months. It is very slow but you have to keep coming up with new tings because people start lining you up. It's not quite there yet."
