I would argue that the trousers aren't too important, much more crucial to make a nice shirt that a lot of people want to buy.

I was at Trent Bridge on Saturday and there were a lot of children wearing the yellow and red Rockets kit, so I think they've been successful there.

I'm not sure about the Trent Rockets kit - I think the yellow shirt is nice, but the trousers feel like an after-thought.

  3. Superchargers 45-0published at 40 balls

Still no wickets. But Superchargers still not finding the boundary with any regularity.

Hard to know who will be the happier side here. Very tough to judge what is a good score on a used pitch.

  4. dropped catch

    Winfield-Hill dropped on 25published at 36 balls

Lauren Winfield-Hill smashes it back at Sammy-Jo Johnson, who gets her hands to hit but the ball deflects away.

    Would've been a screamer.

  5. Superchargers 40-0published at 35 balls

Sarah Glenn hits Jemimah Rodrigues' pads. Big appeal. Not given.

Will they review? Nope. Rodrigues scampered a leg bye there to take her side to 40.

  6. Superchargers 39-0published at 34 balls

Sarah Glenn does not like bowling short and being cut away for four by Jemimah Rodrigues, especially when Kathryn Bryce should do better at point but fails to stop the ball.

Sarah Glenn is very girly and likes her stick-on nails, which she has applied by her sister, who owns a salon, when she's not playing cricket.

  8. Superchargers 34-0published at 32 balls

Lauren Winfield-Hill skips down the pitch and heaves at it. She doesn't connect cleanly but it drops safe and she scampers two.

England leg-spinner Sarah Glenn is coming on. Nat Sciver happy to keep chopping and changing - fifth bowler used already.

  10. Superchargers 31-0published at 30 balls

Seamer Heather Graham is on, with keeper Rachel Priest up to the stumps.

Oooh! That's a sublime bit of fielding by Nat Sciver, picking up one-handed and throwing on the turn, with Jemimah Rodrigues needing to dive to make her ground in time.

Fine work from Graham as the hosts continue to restrict the Superchargers openers.

  12. Superchargers 27-0published at 25 balls

Australian seam bowler Sammy-Jo Johnson begins a set of five balls. Jemimah Rodrigues tries to bash a couple away, picks out a fielder both times, but the second time the ball deflects away and Rodrigues scampers a single.

A good yorker at Lauren Winfield-Hill's toes brings a dot ball. That's superb from Johnson, just three runs from those five balls.

  13. Superchargers 24-0published at 20 overs

    Winfield-Hill 17, Rodrigues 4

Three singles in a row to finish Sciver's first set of five.

  14. 6 runs

    Superchargers 20-0published at 17 balls

Bang! First six of the day as Winfield-Hill swivels a powerful shot round the corner over the rope.

All the sweeter for hitting it off a fellow England international? Certainly something to have in your locker for any dressing room chat.

  15. Superchargers 14-0published at 15 overs

Nothing mis-timed about this one! Winfield-Hill plonks it down the ground for four.

Rockets skipper Nat Sciver is bringing herself on next.

I don't think 400 balls is a lot in white-ball cricket for a Trent Bridge pitch, so I still think it'll be a good wicket still.

Rodrigues and Winfield-Hill seem to be struggling to time it, on a pitch which has been used twice in this competition already.

  18. Superchargers 10-0published at 14 balls

Seamer Kathryn Bryce enters the attack and Lauren Winfield-Hill and Jemimah Rodrigues heave her first two balls into the leg side for a single each.

There was a time here when Riki Wessels was getting down and sweeping fast bowlers for six, no matter what pace they were.

  20. Superchargers 8-0published at 10 balls

A fine start by Brunt. But she should've talked Sciver into reviewing that lbw shout! The Superchargers could've had the dangerous Rodrigues out by now.
