When I woke up this morning it genuinely felt as if the rain might bring down the roof of my house, so I'm very pleasantly surprised to say that it is dry, warm and the crowd is starting to trickle in.

If you wonder why the crowd looks a bit more sparse at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff today, there's a simple explanation.
The numbers able to attend were reduced to a few thousand due to social distancing guidelines to comply with measures by the Welsh public health authorities which are different from England's.
Tickets were actually taken off sale a few weeks ago, but the restrictions will be eased for subsequent matches with 5,300 spectators allowed to attend.
