Michaela Kirk runs in from deep midwicket to take a potential catch, the ball falls well short but Kirk injures herself in the process, her foot seems to get stuck in the turf.

There is a bit of concern as the physio comes on but the good news is that she's on her feet and manages to lightly jog off the field.

It was that sweep round the corner gone wrong. It doesn't matter what the ball was like, it goes down as a wicket. She has got a good player out and it is a big wicket.

    Sharma c Bryce b Higham 1 (Spirit 77-4)

Lucy Higham takes a wicket with her first ball in The Hundred!

It's a full toss on the leg stump, Deepti Sharma is looking to sweep it to find leg and it's a decent catch from Kathryn Bryce with her hands stretched out.

The job has got a lot harder for Spirit now.

  5. Spirit 77-3published at 55 balls left

Knight sweeps Glenn for a boundary.

Despite the England and Spirit skipper still out there, you feel Rockets are the favourites for this now.

The wicket of Dottin was a big scalp, she was in fine form...

She is hanging her head. I don't know what she was thinking. There was no chance of a run. They were just starting to build something but that is a gift for the opposition. They have gone six-four in that last set. There was no need to take that risk.

Dottin run out 29 (Spirit 70-3_

    What is Deandra Dottin doing?

Heather Knight dabs the ball, Dottin sets off from the non-striker's end and is almost level with Knight before being sent back. The throw comes in and she's run out.

  9. Spirit 70-2published at 50 balls left

Trent Rockets have been woeful in the field, there's no other way to put it. A misfield from Sammy Jo-Johnson gifts Dottin boundary.

There's a few bragging points up for grabs in this competition, particularly between England team-mates...

  11. 6 runs

Spirit 66-2published at 53 balls left

    Need 86 from 53 balls

    Stand and deliver.

Dottin makes the most of that lifeline by clearing her front foot and launching Brunt for six.

Huge moment in the game. Another dropped catch. Dottin has already shown us how damaging she can be. That is what we call a sitter.

  13. dropped catch

Dottin dropped on 19published at 55 balls left

    Spirit 60-2

    HUGE DROP!

Deandra Dottin carves the ball to Abi Freeborn at point. It's what you'd call catching practice, an easy grab, but Freeborn can't hold on.

Trent Rockets are making this hard work for themselves.

She would have been in trouble if she hadn't hit that. A very good decision from the umpire.

  15. Not outpublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 29 July 2021

What do I know?! There was bat involved. Not out.

    As we were.

It looked out. I think this is going to be very, very close.

  17. Rockets reviewpublished at 59 balls left

    Spirit 59-2

This looked close. Sammy Jo-Jonson bowls a slower delivery, Dottin is struck on the pads. Given not out and Trent Rockets review.

I don't think there was bat involved.

  18. Spirit 58-2published at 60 balls left

Higham fields on the boundary, the crowd cheer ironically.

This one could go down to the wire.

How costly will that be? Heather Knight dropped on 10 after hitting two boundaries. She is just starting to get in. Got away with that.

  20. dropped catch

Knight dropped on 10published at 64 balls left

Should have been taken! Heather Knight flicks a full toss from Heather Graham and Lucy Higham spills it in the deep.

    That could be costly.
