  1. A must win for Spirit?published at 14:52 British Summer Time 3 August 2021

Here is how the women's competition looks at the halfway point of the group stage.

Southern Brave have been faultless, and seem pretty likely to earn one of the top three spots.

Northern Superchargers aren't far behind, and two points today would send them top, and leave them in a great position to progress.

It hasn't gone smoothly for London Spirit so far, and today is almost certainly must win for them, as they look to put themselves in contention.

The toss took place a short while ago, and Superchargers captain Lauren Winfield-Hill won it and chose to have a bit first. She says she is backing her spinners to defend a total.

While Heather Knight says she was undecided, so she doesn't mind having to chase.

Both teams are unchanged from their last game. We'll bring you full teams in a minute.

    Afternoon!

The Hundred has been relentless, and full of quality, so far, and it continues with London Spirit v Northern Superchargers today.

Spirit could really do with a win, in their final home game, if they still have aspirations of progressing out of the group stage.

    Win. Lost. Lost. Lost.

It started well for London Spirit but it has quickly gone downhill.

    Win. Win. No Result. Win.

It has been going really well for Northern Superchargers.
