Beautiful drive through the covers from Georgia Redmayne off Charlie Dean gives her another four. A wide one from Dean and Redmayne cuts it aerially over the ring for back-to-back boundaries.

Well played by Georgia Redmayne. She didn't try to hit it too hard and simply picked a gap where there were no fielders.
Doctor Redmayne, qualified medical practitioner, knocks Deepti Sharma for a single down the ground.
A few balls later the left-hander is given a full toss by Sharma and sweeps clinically to find the boundary for four.

That's a big wicket for the London Spirit. A few loose balls from Freya Davies to start but she fought back well.
Smith c Monaghan b Davies 13
A soft dismissal for Bryony Smith after a positive start. She was trying to work the ball into the leg side but ends up tamely chipping Freya Davies into the hands of Alice Monaghan.

That's a very loose ball from Freya Davies to start. Spirit have the experience of Heather Knight, so they won't be panicking early - bad balls do happen.
A freebie from Freya Davies first up as she is clipped round the corner by Bryony Smith who works her off the leg for four. A carbon copy shot off the eight ball and another four.
Not a great start by Spirit with the ball.

I'm looking forward to the second innings already. Spirit have to chase whatever the target is with about 58 balls to spare. It could be chaos!
A tight first four of the set before Bryony Smith shuffles across her stumps and elegantly tickles one down the leg side for four.

Bowling first gives London Spirit the best chance they can get. It's do or die now, they might as well go for it and try and put on a show.
Spinner Charlie Dean bowls first for London Spirit and Hayley Matthew and Bryony Smith both pick up a couple of singles.
London Spirit's players sprint out onto the outfield before congregating into a huddle for some final inspirational words of wisdom from Heather Knight. We're close to getting under way at Sophia Gardens.
The big team news is wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor is missing for Welsh Fire today so Nat Wraith makes her debut in The Hundred.
Welsh Fire skipper Sophie Luff: "The Hundred has been a great experience for me. I've never captained at this level before. It's been a challenge and hopefully we can end on a high. With a few more faces in the crowd I hope we can put on a show."
London Spirit skipper Heather Knight: "Bowling first will give us the best chance of trying to control the game and try to do it. We will have to swing hard to go for it so welcome to the 40 rather than The Hundred!"
Maybe if I post the standings it will make more sense...
