It was almost the perfect performance by Oval Invincibles. Marizanne Kapp set the tone in the first 10 balls.

I feel sorry for Southern Brave.

This is not how Southern Brave would have wanted to go about their cricket today. The pressure of the occasion may have got too much for them. The Oval Invincibles, coming in with a bit of momentum, absolutely dominated today.

And here's how it all unfolded (a very brief summary).

Having lost the toss, Invincibles batted first and made 121 thanks to key contributions from Kapp, Dane van Niekerk, Fran Wilson and Alice Capsey.

Brave's batting has won them all but one game in the group stages but Kapp dismissed each of their top three without scoring within the first 10 balls and you felt it was game over from there.

A totally dominant performance from the aptly-named Invincibles.

The Invincibles have had the majority of their star players, their experienced core, step up to the plate.

What a performance. You can see just how much that means to those players, as Marizanne Kapp - the star of the show with four wickets - sinks to her knees to take a deep breath as if she can't quite believe it.

Marizanne Kapp takes the final wicket and Oval Invincibles are The Hundred champions!

That is brutal!! Kapp clearly doesn't like being hit for four - she's nearly taken Lauren Bell's head off.

  9. Brave 73-9published at 4 balls left

Well, that's one way to play it! Lauren Bell smashes her for four. Great shot!

And it's Marizanne Kapp to bowl the last five. Who else?!

  11. Brave 69-9published at 5 balls left

Excellent spell from Tash Farrant - no wickets but she's bowled 20 balls for 12 runs and is still the competition's highest wicket taker.

Just 5 balls to go ...

  12. Brave 69-9published at 8 balls left

The runs are a bit irrelevant now, so it's just whether Invincibles can win The Hundred by bowling the Brave out.

For me, Dane Van Niekerk has been the player of the tournament. She's done it with the bat, ball and with her captaincy.

Tash Farrant has had an amazing tournament but she's yet to take a wicket today. She'd love to finish this off for her team here.

I still think it's quite harsh. I'm not 100% on that one.

Morris run out 23 (Brave 63-8)

What's happened here? Give me a minute to try and explain, but it's taken everyone by surprise.

Fi Morris looked like she was miles in, but the third umpire thinks her bat was in the air when the bails were taken off. She seemed to put her bat down, but it bounced up unluckily.
