I'm fairly certain that Henry Blofeld once drove from London to Mumbai in a Rolls Royce.

Editor: Indeed he did, he tells the Independent:, external "I had an extraordinary drive in a 1921 Rolls-Royce from London to Bombay in 1976, on my way to an England tour of India. My favourite part was going from Kabul in Afghanistan, along the Khyber Pass to Pakistan. It was simply unbelievable: the mountains, the gorges, up hill, down dale – the most remarkable scenery I've ever seen."

I had to go to Serbia, Belgrade and spent 11 days over there. It's on the amber list.

Then I came to London, drove straight to Southampton and spent five days in isolation.

Then moved to the hotel in the Rose Bowl.

Sunil, by the way, has had one of the great journeys to get to Southampton....

When I first saw Colin de Grandhomme from a distance when the team were warming up, I was wondering why Ishant Sharma was in the New Zealand camp, because Ishant had a similar haircut.

It looks nice, I mean it's different.

This is better from New Zealand, an element of control brought by Jamieson and De Grandhomme. As I type that, Rohit plays a sweet backfoot drive that rattles to the point boundary.

Another half-chance, another stumping that would have been a worldie. Amy Jones is standing up to Katherine Brunt, with Raut overbalancing at one that goes down the leg side. Jones can't gather. If she had, it would have been from the Sarah Taylor collection.

Katherine Brunt, after producing one of the all-time great catch and celebration combinations, has just spent the past five minutes with her arms folded, giggling to herself. She watched it on the replay from every angle possible. Lauren Winfield-Hill had her hands on her head the entire time, as though she couldn't believe what she'd seen.

Yep, drifting down. England got one right yesterday morning, but this never looked like being successful.

Hmmm. I'm not sure about this. Ecclestone to Raut. Feels leggy.

Kyle Jamieson is the same height as Joel Garner, who - when I batted against him - was quite awkward when trying to pick up his length. Picking up the line is OK but because of the height and bounce you'd stay back a bit, which would make him quicker.

You can see over the last couple of overs that Williamson has had enough of the runs coming and wants to hold this game a little bit more.

I feel like we need to take some time to appreciate Kyle Jamieson.

Tall as a house, blond, shoulders like he's left the hanger in his shirt. He's like a Nordic king.

I feel like I may owe Shafali Verma an apology for saying how great it was she was batting at the same time as Rohit. She was out next ball.

Punam Raut is the new arrival. How many might England take before the deficit is wiped off?

This is what England wanted - Shafali Verma is the key player in this India team. It's probably not true, but 33.3% of full tosses bring wickets!

What a catch from Katherine Brunt! That's a massive wicket for England. Even when the ball was up in the air, I don't think Shafali Verma expected to get out.
