That was cleanly struck - looking to attack the new bowler early doors.

    Four more to Amy Jones!

She whips it through mid-wicket, and it beats the fielder in the ring and on the boundary.

New Zealand have got to attack the stumps against Amy Jones, get all three dismissals into play.

  4. Eng 83-2published at 11 overs

Just a single from the final two balls of the over.

England are finding the boundary fairly regularly, but there may be a few too many dot balls for Lisa Keightley's liking.

That is a great shot from Amy Jones. She's not afraid to play it early.

    Shot!

A bit too wide from Leigh Kasperek and Amy Jones reverse sweeps over third and away to the boundary.

Jones hit a boundary every 4.19 balls in The Hundred, so stay tuned. She could pepper them in the next half hour or so.

    England seamer on BBC Two

The operation for the Kiwi girls is to keep taking wickets. It's the biggest way to slow the run-rate down.

Here's the only six of the night so far - a beautiful shot from Nat Sciver.

  9. Eng 74-2published at 10 overs

Amy Jones is the new batter, and she plays out a dot ball to mid-on to start.

England have a decent platform to attack in the second half of the innings, though.

That's a really good bit of bowling. It's a much-needed wicket for the New Zealanders.

    Sciver b Jensen (Eng 74-2)

    BIG wicket!

Nat Sciver moves outside leg, looking to give herself some room. She looks to nudge the ball down through third, but misses, and the ball crashes into the top of middle stump.

A bit unlike Sciver that - it is not often she looks to nurdle the ball around.

Tammy Beaumont has been in brilliant form in the last year or so.

That was timed to perfection. So dismissive.

  14. Eng 71-1published at 9 overs

Tammy Beaumont had a pretty quiet Hundred by her standards, but she looks in superb form tonight. She picks up another four with a beautiful drive over mid-off. It flew to the boundary.

She had a fantastic tour of New Zealand earlier in the year, so it is a side she loves playing against.

Aaron Dawson: New Zealand are doing well to keep Sciver quiet so far.

  17. Eng 62-1published at 8.1 overs

    Wowwww, that is a shot.

Tammy Beaumont stands still, waits for the slower ball, and whips Hannah Rowe through mid-wicket.

She pierced the mid-wicket and long-on fielder perfectly.

  18. Eng 58-1published at 8 overs

Excellent comeback from Hayley Jensen, conceding just two singles from the remainder of the over.

New Zealand - apart from two big overs - have restricted England pretty well here.
